“Placing the order was an easy process and delivery was fast. The blanks were well protected by the packaging and arrived without any damage My only negative was that the variety of wood I was able to select was limited, the majority of the ones I would have liked being unavailable. However, in this instance, I am time-limited and needed some material for my current project. Thank you”

“I ordered a number 6 sweep 40mm fishtail gouge and a number 7 sweep 35mm bent gouge by Pfeil. They both arrived well packaged and within 3 days of ordering them…and the shipping was free due to order being above £50. I am just getting into wood carving, spoons and bowls, and these gouges are for bowls. These are impressive tools to say the least. They are very well made and without a doubt, they are built to last. The girth in the metal blades are thick and looks like they are meant to do a job and as I looked at them, they are up to the task. I have not tried them out as of yet, but I know that it will be a memorable experience. G & S Specialist Timber has a wide variety of wood carving tools and I was impressed with their notifications about providing an invoice and keeping me informed about the shipping expectations. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them. Their prices are competitive and they don’t charge for shipping once you go over £50.”
