“Superb service from G&S Timber. A really easy website to use, with a good range of timbers. Our order was delivered very quickly and packaged very well to avoid transit damage. There was excellent communication throughout. The two pieces of Ash we had ordered looked very good quality. We have made two handrails for our staircase and with all the finishing needed we are completely happy with the results.”

“I always buy my carving blanks here but over the last few times I've been really disappointed as I can't get the blanks I use. They used to supply 60mm thickness but now it's either 54 or 80 mm meaning I'm buying the larger size and cutting 20mm off which is costing me more I'm sure it's not impossible to cut 60 mm which for me would be ideal that's why only 4stars”

“The quality of the various types of hardwood delivered was excellent, and the pricing was very competitive. Delivery was also much sooner than expected. The timber was exceedingly well packaged to prevent damage in transit. I thoroughly recommend this company and will be buying more from them in the near future.”
