“Ordered 2 oak dowels 50.8mm dia x 350mm late Thursday. Arrived early Saturday! Beautiful pieces, finely finished. Very impressed. A bit puzzled why it was necessary to taper the last 25mm by about 0.8mm to 50mm dia (1 : 62.5): flat masking tape doesn't like cones!”

“The timber was a lovely quality, accurately machined and delivered quickly. Have used this company before and would highly recommend them. More notice of delivery times would help as tracking was difficult and it had to be taken in by a neighbour.”

“Outstanding oak dowels. I needed consistent lengths and quality to dowel through 60cm of green oak sleepers to fix three tiered raised beds together. When my local merchant could only supply ‘European hardwood dowels’ (a load of lightweight rubbish) I found G&S online. Glad I did. Rapid service and great quality consistent dowels. Thanks.”
