“Hi G&S, In UK the standard measurement system is metric. I have acquired three sets of Record 148 Dowel jigs and combined them onto rods of 1 metre length. The drill guides are for the drill sizes 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" from the time when UK was using Imperial dimensions. In order to use the dowel jig I bought your dowel rods and using a stop I cut to length 7 dowel pieces from each rod and rounded the end on my band sander. Now I am set up for the next project. Thanks G&S Colin Farrier”

“Excellent service - I think G & S had the only Veritas Small Scraper plane in the UK and the States! I count myself lucky to have found it. I tried 7 other suppiers! Very pleased with the plane it is nice and heavy and ergonomic.”

“Rarely am I disappointed with what we receive from G&S. The machining is usually spot on and requires a very light sand. I have recommended G&S to colleagues of mine, both of whom are now regular customers. Oh yes, and the customer service is excellent : )”
