Good morning, Thank you for your review, The dowels do taper by about 0.5mm on each end around 5-8mm in, this is due to the sanding process after machining the dowels, we are currently sourcing new machines to get around this. We did reply to your email offering a full refund but received no response. Kind regards G&S
