“I got the products free as a promotion and only needed to pay for the postage. My experience wasn't great as I got bombarded with emails and had to wait about 3 weeks for the prodcut to arrive. It's smaller than I thought, and it occurred to me that it was basically fancy soap. It was nice to try but just not my thing.”

“I liked the soap and the ethos ,but delivery took ages ,i would of maybe have made another purchase but quickly realised your a subscription company where one off purchases were penalised to a cost of 28% more,£8 for a small bar of soap is very expensive and it only lasted a week,i can wash with a supermarket bar of soap for £5 a month compared to £32, for this reason i couldn't possibly order again,maybe one day your prices will come down because i did like it but not enough to warrant the price difference.”

“I've just been trying the 4 different solid shower gels. They smell really lovely and I'd like to rate them very highly on this. Their disadvantage is that they really don't lather well on hands, however well I wet them with warm water. They form a slippery layer which is poor at spreading on skin and takes ages. I wonder if putting them into a small hessian bag would work better and also be a good skin scrub. I haven't got one so can't try it, but it seems possible?”

“I’m sure Gruum is a fine business. Thanks for the four free shower gel bars, for which I just paid postage. Problem is I’ve no idea how to make them work. There’s no lather, even when wet and left to soak. I couldn’t possibly wash, shower or wash my hair with them. Did I get a bad batch? Am I going something wrong? Please help! But thanks the free offer anyway!”

“Website services are very good and easy to use aspecially as a new user. Delivery and postage was also very swift. The purchased soaps were very small to my dissapointment, aspecially as I was looking to use them for a long perioud of time. Charcoal face cleanser is exceptionally thorough, leaving my pores feeling tight and also brightens the skin wich I was very happy about. However application of the soap on skin is not pleasent as it gives it a harsh rubbery feeling - other than that I was very satisfied with my products.”

“Some of the products are very good however there are some items I think it needs improvement for example the body butter bar and lip conditioner I didn't like it that much. One of My favorite product is gentle face wash bar it's amazing and it doesn't make the face dry or uncomfortable it's the best face wash bar that I've ever tried”

“Quick delivery and the soaps smell amazing (well I've only tried one atm) however I'm so disappointed that the soap does not lather at all! I even had to read the instructions in case I was doing something wrong. I've never had lather-less soap in my life, very strange, but the smell is divine! Not sure if the other 3 bars will have the same effect????”

“The products all smell gorgeous so thats 5 stars. My issue is with the packaging especially the hand cream - obviously designed to fit through your letter box but the shape of the container and the thickness of the plastic make it very difficult to squeeze and get the product out.”

“I ordered the 4 shower gel bars which was a promotion - just had to pay for delivery. Delivery was quite quick. However when it came to shower time I had to check instructions to see what on earth I could be doing wrong as I’ve never had a bar of soap that just does not lather at all! The smell was divine so I was hugely disappointed that I just couldn’t wash myself properly with this bar of soap!!”

“I bought a variety of Gruum products as I already like and use other solid shampoos and conditioners. I have only tried one of the Gruum products to date - the amber & cardamom shower gel bar. I find this very disappointing. Despite what it says on the packet, it does not lather at all and is therefore very odd to use. It does smell nice, but I feel there is something very lacking in the recipe at present.”

“Everything tried so far has been average. Not helped by one of the bottles leaking during transit. It was all on offer from somewhere so I’m not too disappointed. Would I pay full price for it all. I don’t think so.”

“Interested to try this product, texture on but found the packaging a bit boxy and difficult to get the remnants of creams out due to corners. This would put me off buying again. Good luck with your venture.”
