I returned my 10 year old granddaughter's walking shoes as they were too small, however, they somehow managed to leave the box en route back to Grisport. Customer Services advised they were not securely packed and they would not refund the cost of them or replace for a larger size. I fail to understand how the free gift, socks and other small items were still in the returned parcel ???? After several emails I eventually was advised that a refund had been processed for £1.50 !!!! I had also purchased a cleaning brush for £4 which was returned to them so the £1.50 does not even cover that cost, all in all I am £71.50 down and my granddaughter has no birthday present, as my pension income is not enough to buy her another pair. Disgusting Customer Service.

I ordered a pair of Lady Glide hiking boots but was sent the wrong boots so I returned them only to be sent the wrong boots again! At least the person I rang did send the correct boots by next day delivery. There must be significant problems in the ordering system to send the wrong boots out twice.

Walking boots I purchased were totally unfit for purpose. Customer services totally uninterested in what amounts to selling an item for £120 which ended up bringing unsafe to wear. Needless to say I will never purchase from Grisport again.

I was sent the wrong shoe size. Despite the error being the supplier’s, I had to pay return postage which would have been £23.00. I decided to cut my losses and gave the shoes to charity. Returns postage should be the supplier’s responsibility when the error is theirs.

As a customer of this company for many years I will no longer be buying the products. My last purchase was totally overpriced and the sterling/euro rate applied had no relation to the actual exchange rate. Another way of fleecing the loyal customer. Interaction with ‘customer service’ dismal with their answer to queries is to not answer!!

UPSET WITH MY LATEST PAIR OF DARTMOORS IN BROWN USED THESE FOR MANY YEARS BUT THIS PAIR ARE NOT UP TO THE JOB ONE UPSET CUSTOMER .

The shoes are uncomfortable, poorly made, the shoes laces don't tighten and the laces come undone always. The worst walking shoes I've ever used.

Description say waterproof, worn these twice now in heaven rain and my feet got wet through. These shoes are definitely not waterproof. The shoes themselves are very comfy.

I purchased a pair of the decoy walking boots at the end of may and have found that one of the boots has very quickly deteriorated after only being worn 3 times on paved footpaths. The right boot leather has dried losing the oils that were in it making it dull compared to the left boot, this has also left severe creases that make the leather feel very week as well as one of the lace hooks has started tearing out of the leather.

After my boots first outing, a dry sunny day with the route taking me through a couple of fields of long wet grass, they took several days to dry and were stained. Further spraying and polishing did not improve their appearance, and I contacted yourselves and at the same time found care instructions under the Help heading on your website , not somewhere I would expect to be looking having only purchased the boots in May. This advised me, as did your email response, that the boots can dry out after production while in storage and may need various products to enhance the quality and durability of the leather. Why then do the boots not come with this advice in the box and instead of the free gifts I think the products required would be more useful. Really disappointed as I wore my Brasher boots from day 1, the water always ran off and frankly they lasted 12 years, with regular wax , waterproofing and polish. It was only after my return from a walking holiday that I noticed that the soles were very badly worn on one boot , which might have contributed to a slight problem with my foot. Hence I decided to treat myself and chose your Boots having mostly excellent reviews and the ability to wear straight out of the box without needing to walk in. I walk 2-4 times a week, they are not much good to me in our climate if they then take days to dry.. I have requested a replacement pair so that I can start all over and give them the benefit of the doubt, I never had this problem with my original and cheaper high tec boots ..

I purchased a pair of walking shoes for the summer. The second time o wore them the loop hole for the lace came off the boot. I can’t be bothered to send them back as I need the walking shoes but it’s annoying.

Ordering and delivery fine. The boots themselves...utterly useless. They failed the 50 walk in 15cm deep wet grass test...I might as well have walked in socks. A complete waste of money.

Very poor, bought one pair of boots via Amazon, had to send them back as they were damaged seconds. Got a pair from directly your company hoping for better, this pair were terrible quality of construction and finish and again with damage. I will not be buying them again.

Returned boots for exchange (size). Not received constructive reply to my email enquiring about when they would be delivered. Exchange not received! Disappointing customer service (exchange) after excellent next day delivery initially.

My new boots arrived but one was uncomfortable which made me look into why. Internally the area around the heel was not equal to the other with padding plus a bulging seam. Externally each boot measured differently with 1.5cm difference at the rear. I don’t know what difference it would’ve made when walking but they certainly looked and felt different. I was advised to return for a replacement. I really hope that someone does look at them and also that my replacement is not the same(!) or similar. I needed these boots in a hurry which I did explain. It’s taken 2 weeks and I still don’t have them. That means, at best, I only have 2 weeks to break them in. They were ordered later than u would’ve liked after my previous boots sprung a large leak walking the Tamara Way mid February. So my review is not specifically about the boots alone it is about my overall experience thus far. I hope my next review is 5 stars and the boots are super comfy, we shall see! Lady Cartmel in Raspberry were my purchase on 22they were returned on 29th Febt

Used to be a great company caring for its customer, not anymore, product quality now in decline after using the avenger model for a number of years this will be the last pair I purchase. No idea of their stock levels so sell boots they are not even sure they have ! As for the free pack that comes with the boots it’s absolute garbage best thing is the spare laces.

I love Grisport bots but would advise to buy direct from a retailer and not from the uk website. Customer service is non existent and trying to get a refund for an item that didn't arrive (wasn't even shown on Royal Mail tracking) was very difficult.

Thank you for your comments. The comments do not follow the actual events. We had two phone calls from yourself in relation to this non delivery. We advised that there was a 5 day window that the parcel could arrive in, as the delivery is only an estimate. Once this time had passed and the parcel was still not delivered then we could action a claim and attempt a second delivery or a refund. After your second call to let us know you still did not have the parcel then we refunded your purchase whilst on the call and apologised for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately on occasions, there can be issues with deliveries going missing or packages becoming damaged and not reaching their destinations. Your original delivery is still showing as pending and upon our investigations, Royal mail have confirmed as missing. We are disappointed that your review claims that customer services are non existent, when our team try our upmost to provide the best service we can. We have many genuine reviews commenting on great service and we pride ourselves on this. We appreciate that your comments reflect your frustration with the service on this occasion. DC Grisport UK

My order arrived, one walking boot had a manufacturing defect. Returned requesting a replacement. Replacement received was incorrect size!!!! So have to return again. Massive inconvenience. Fingers crossed third time lucky ☹️
