“Ordered these shoes for work. They are very sturdy, but comfortable. As I was warned they are not overly wide fitting, I order a size larger than normal, and this proved wise. The Vibram soles are excellent for walking and driving, and the elasticated fastenings are mreally handy. Delivery was within two days of ordering. Overall, I am very pleased.”

“I received my boots after ordering them on the Sunday and received them the Tuesday. I absolutely love my boots, perfect colour size and fit. They are so comfortable and didn’t pinch when I first wore them. I especially appreciated my free gift. Thank you.”

“Brilliant, I tend to go with the big names, so Scarpa, Lowa, Meidl etc, these are every bit as good, seem to fit my foot perfectly, nice wide toebox, I love them, and they will be carrying me across the Camino De Santiago in October now”

“I love this company, never had any issues the 4 times I have ordered from them. To the shoe!! Lady Trident, I’m just on my second pair, having worn the first pair out over many miles and rocks and hills. These shoes fit me straight from the box, I do have wide feet. They are super comfy, super waterproof and super grippy. I actually prefer these over boots. Performance wise, well straight out of the box I took on Mount Olympus highest summit, Mytikas at 2918M. This was a 3 day 30KM trek, through forests, dry riverbeds and scree, with a 200m vertical rock climb to the summit, in extreme heat, I threw practically everything at these shoes and they were excellent, no hotspots, no rubs and no blisters. An outstanding shoe!! Thank you Grisport”

“Excellent. The boots arrived quickly and the box contained a Royal Mail returns label as promised. I didn’t need to return them: they were fine. My suggestion: it was hard to choose which boots were right for me. The descriptions on the website could do with more detail, and perhaps some guidance on which walking boots to choose. Example: how stiff are the soles? How high are the ankles? Which ones for deep mud, which ones for sharp rocks, which ones for occasional walkers, which ones are for a frequent trek on tough terrain? I more-or-less had to guess which ones were right for me. I am using the mobile site in a remote location in the Scottish isles so perhaps this information already exists on the website. I couldn’t find it. Also it would be good to know if the boots are actual size or if they are sized up to accommodate thick socks. I am size 38 in town shoes. Should I buy size 38 boots or size up to size 39? Will they stretch? In any case the boots as delivered size 39 are OK and so far performed well. Waterproof and comfortable with 2 pairs of socks. I could perhaps have done with the smaller size . Another time I would order both sizes to compare. I would definitely use Grisport again and have recommended them to my travel companions.”

“My Wife and I both love the Grisport hiking boots we bought them to walk the dog, we use to hike all over Scotland and needed strong protective boots that you could walk all day in total comfort and Grisport do that right from the box (no need to break them in or worry about sore feet and blisters) We both would 100% recommend”
