“The shoes are comfortable and fairly hard wearing. The 1st pair I bought the leather upper went into holes, but that may be because I didn’t polish them.”

“Very comfortable even with my plantar fasciitis issues. Wider than expected and waterproof so far. Only dropped a star for a very slight seam rub at the back of one heel which I'm sure will wear away.”

“I haven't had time to test the boots fully yet but first impressions are very good. Well made and very comfortable from first wearing. Soles are quite thick so will be good cooler weather boots, could be a bit warm for hot weather.....if we ever get any in the north of England”

“these are very good lighweight boots, I am now on my third pair and my only slight gripe is that they wear out fairly quickly after about 400 miles, but the fact they are so comfortable even after an all day trek means its a small price pay so they are good value”

“This is the 2nd pair of Grisport boots that I’ve had as as with the first, I’m very impressed by the quality, comfort and performance for the price point. Used 3hrs a day for cross country walks in all weathers, they have performed at least as well as boots costing more than double. Absolutely recommended.”

“Lovely shoe. A little tight on small toes and my upper arches. Was expecting the claim that they would fit without need to “.wear in!” to be accurate but not in my experience Happy enough!”

“I purchased a pair ofLatitude Lowland Shoe's in their sale, and I have to say I really like them. I usually take between a size 9(43) or a size 10(44) depending on make, so decided on a 10. Theres a nice amount of room and with a gel insert, really nice and comfy. They feel good on, giving support where needed, and with the vibram sole you get good stability on various types of ground . I haven't been able to test how waterproof they are yet.”

“Second pair of Grisport boots (Thunder this time) Last pair lasted 4 years of near constant daily use. Harder sole on these but upper is very soft, no wearing in required. Seem very well made (will see longer term) Slight niggle is the cheaper laces - horrible brown nylon, already snagging. Lets them down a bit, so minus 1 star.”

“I have tried my new shoes and the fit feels great but I have not used them yet they will be my winter shoes, they were a great price in the sale. May try Grisport walking boots when I need a new pair if all goes well with the shoes.”

“Service excellent and prompt delivery on schedule makes buying from Grisport easy. The flask and bag were a welcome surprise which put a smile on my face. Have awarded only 4 stars tho as my last pair of Grisport boots perished along the joint after only one year.”

“Very comfortable walking shoes - no breaking in required. Laces a little short but think they will be fine once the shoes have been worn a while and they can be pulled tighter. Lovely to receive the free gift.”

“My wife and I both have Grisport walking boots. In the case of my wife she is on her second pair after ten years of moderate to hard ware. I am new to Grisport after two poor experiences with a major company. The service is quick the quality is good and time will tell how well myboots last as I am harder on my boots than my wife. If they perform like her first pair, even if not for so long I'll be well pleased”

“The shoes I ordered turned out not to be in stock. However a substitute was arranged and delivered quickly. Whilst they are effective, I prefer the Vibram sole, and this pair does not have that.”
