“I had problems with glass breakage during delivery but this was quickly resolved after a phone call. Also a slight problem with the door seal sizing but again this was quickly resolved. Both problems involved no cost to me. Considering I bought the greenhouse under a special offer I am extremely satisfied with the after sales service and communications. Would definitely use again.”

“We built the greenhouse as competent DIY'ers using your instructions as our only guide. While they definitely fulfilled their aim, we did notice a couple of areas where they might be enhanced (for DIY'ers that is), and, while accepting the risk that the cause of the hitches could be down to inexperience in building EDEN, we'd like to highlight these now: 1. Assembly. The guidance requires the frame bracket plates to be fully tightened as the sectional build progresses. In the case of the ridge section fitting to the gable ends, it was necessary to remove the plate at the gable apex at each end to allow the ridge temporarily to locate correctly, replacing and re-tightening up afterwards. We discovered this solution through trial and error and a lot of staring, re-reading and thinking, and it might be worth offering this as a tip to future builders. 2. Glass fitting. We thought hard about a sequence for fitting the glass to amplify the glass 'fitted' diagram in the instructions. We decided to fit the centre 3 panes of our 10ft greenhouse roof and sides, and the centre gable panes first as this allowed the end panes to be more easily maneuvered into place by retaining the ability to reach through the empty frame and hold both sides of the glass in all but the last pieces. This could be a useful tip, perhaps shown in an amplification diagram showing the recommended order of glass installation rather than just which piece goes where. Hope these are of use. Thanks for a great product.”

“The delivery was slightly longer than expected but the delay was communicated and updates on the supply were regular. Delivery driver was superb. Great greenhouse. No reflection on Greenhouse Stores more on the manufacturer, the pictorial instructions are poor so the assembly takes a bit of working out. The greenhouse was worth every penny. Highly recommend Greenhouse Stores and the 8x8 greenhouse.”

“I bought a Vitavia Venus Greenhouse, everything was delivered and seemed OK. I spent quite a bit of time getting the base level and square before assembling the frame. The instructions say not to overtighten the bolts, this is because they are made of toffee so be careful. Although the base came with clips to attach the frame I added extra holes/bolts to make it more secure. I struggled to get the glass to fit so I had to call the manufacturer. I had bought toughened glass so I did not need to use the aluminium clips, apparently obviously, although after re-reading the instructions I could not find this mentioned. But after getting this vital piece of information the glass started going in ok. Unfortunately the last large pane that I picked up to fit just exploded in my hands. It was the first one that had been unloaded from the van and stood against the wall so it was the last one for me to pick up. I watched everything being unloaded so I do not think that the driver had caused a problem, but a couple of other panes are scratched so they might have been miss-handled during manufacture/storage. Anyway, my glazer advised me strongly against buying 3mm glass to replace it so ended up getting 4mm for £45. I had to call again, the glass in the door was loose (ie. falling out) and was told that the problem was probably due to the fact that I had assembled the door incorrectly. I have never liked being told that I am wrong especially when am sure that I was not. So I had a look for the problem myself and could see that the glazing strips for the door were a different profile. I emailed photos to the manufacturer showing the correctly assembled door frame and glazing strips but was told that I was wrong (again) about the strips. There were a couple of extra glazing strips supplied that I cut up and with the addition of bead of sealant the glass is now secure. As mentioned, I opted for glazing strips as it can get a little windy here (Anglesey) but they did need trimming quite a bit in places to get them to fit neatly. Overall I am happy with the finished greenhouse, and more importantly so is my wife. If I had bought the basic product then I think that it would have gone together with no problems but if you go for and additional extras (toughened glass/glazing strips) then you will need more general fitting skills to put it together.”

Excellent service, regular updates of shipment and delivery times. Helpful staff when contacted by telephone, delivery driver very helpful and placed goods where we asked him to for our convenience. Would thoroughly recommend, and will verbally do so to friends and family if they are requiring a greenhouse.”
