Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“Completely reliable and efficient. There are many cowboys and fly-by-night operators in this sector but this company and its people are professional. I have used them over a number of years, including trimming and shaping, which is always a work-of-art.”

“Friendly and helpful customer service; and work carried out pruning several trees was of a high quality and as I had asked for. Work done without causing undue mess in the house despite having to use hallway to access garden. Cost comparable to other reputable tree surgeons in Bromley area. We have used this company before and will continue to do so.”

“Down to Earth Trees came to the estate to carry out a process called amelioration on an ancient tree of some considerable note; not a job you would entrust to just anyone. From start to finish their approach was both knowledgeable and very professional. Clearly passionate about their work, they were always keen to explain the process through its various stages. They were a delight to have around, and I would engage them again without hesitation. I highly recommend them.”

“After contacting Down to Earth, John came out within a few days to advise and quote for our tree works. A date was set quickly and on the day, a huge team came out to complete the works. They were friendly, courteous and tidied up after themselves. They worked through pouring rain to get the job done. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely use them again.
