Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“The friendly, and well-briefed team worked really hard to remove a large bamboo "hedge", which was in a position with quite difficult access in my garden. They took care not to cause any damage to surrounding patio etc, managed to keep a concerned neighbour happy, and cleared up thoroughly afterwards. I'm pleased with the results of this difficult job, and from my initial contact, to site visit for quote, and the job itself, I would definitely recommend Down to Earth Trees - a very professional, friendly and effective company.”

“We had always been more than happy with Greencut Horticulture Ltd and they have now merged with Down to Earth Trees Ltd so we hope we will continue to be just as happy with them in the future. Down to Earth recently cut down a 25ft tall, spindly tree for us. Although the wait to have the job done was longer than we had anticipated, they rang a week beforehand to say they had time to do it that day and arrived 20mins later. Within 15mins they had cut down the tree, plugged the roots and cleared up all the bits. The surrounding area was left neat and tidy and we were happy with the price and the knowledge that the wood would be disposed of responsibly.”

“Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful in their approach, from the initial quotation, in arranging the appointments, and through to carrying out the work. On the day of the work they suggested pollarding one of the trees instead of simply reducing the height and spread, as it would be better long term for the tree. This seemed to involve more work for them but at no increased cost. They cleared everything away extremely well. Would definitely use them again.”

“From the planning permission from the council to the felling of TPO trees in my garden, everything was taken care of by the Down to Earth team, very professionally. They left my property in great condition after the work finished, and was all completed in one day. It's hard to come by a team of workers, that do their job so well, and to tbe specs, it was a pleasure having them do our job. Thank you so much.”
