Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“As far as I can recall, since the early 1980s I have called in Down to Earth Trees Ltd / Greencut to fell 7 ancient, dead apple trees, 1 ancient, dead plum tree, 1 enormous conifer, which was leaning precariously over a footpath following gale force winds, 4 laburnum trees, 2 crab apple trees, 2 out of hand cotoneasters, numerous self-seeded rowan trees and a silver birch. More recently I called in Down to Earth to remove a dead hawthorn tree and grind its roots. I therefore think my confidence in the company speaks for itself. I have often recommended them to friends and acquaintances.”

“I cannot fault anything in the service I have received from this company from beginning to end. The communication was excellent throughout, from my initial inquiry through to the work being done and invoice sent. The 2 young men who did the work were punctual, polite and professional. They checked with me before and during the work I was happy and gave me time to think if I was happy or wanted more taken off the tree. Everything was cleared and tidied and anything moved was put in back in place. Can highly recommend this company”
