Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“Very helpful from beginning to end. Great job, trees taken down and stumps ground down as instructed. Lovely group of men who worked hard to get the job down in the hot weather. All polite and tidied up before they left. Would recommend to anyone.”

“You recently trimmed back a large Copper Beech and a Lime Tree in my garden. I just want to say how pleased I've been with the result. I was especially worried about the Copper Beech, it is a magnificent specimen, but to close to the house. A great worry when there is stormy weather. The Tree Surgeons have cut sympathetically to keep shape and retain it's beauty, for which I am most grateful. The bonus has been all the extra light the garden now receives. Thankyou.”

“I have used the services of Down To Earth Trees Ltd on several occasions now to manage the trees in my garden, either pruning to shape or reducing in size. They have also removed and ground the stumps on several conifers that have overgrown too much for the garden. When ever they visit they work in a very efficient safe manner, even hiring platforms to access trees that have great height to them. The work is always carried out quickly and the site left clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend them”

“The team were friendly, courteous and respectful of my garden. It was amazing watching these guys scaling the trees like monkeys. Although monkeys should never be allowed to play with chainsaws and don't clean up their mess like these guys did. Thanks for an excellent job and for making the end of my garden full of light and removing the branches from where the pigeons liked to forever poop on my summerhouse and decking.”
