Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“Very happy to say this company were faultless. On time, very polite and cleared up very carefully. “From the first moment we contacted Down To Earth we have experienced amazing service. The tree specialist gave great advice and on the day of the tree cutting the teams were professional, friendly and left the site clean and tidy. The two trees have never looked better. I would highly recommend Down to Earth to anybody requiring tree work.”

“I engaged Down to Earth to remove some very large trees that were perched on the corner of my property, hemmed in by a wall and the pavement. They attended promptly and rapidly felled and disposed of the trees. Unfortunately they were not able to grind down the roots because of the proximity to the wall and pavement. I contacted their office and asked if there were any other options to remove the stumps to allow me to replant the area. Again, they very promptly sent out another team who manually removed the stumps with axes and a small machine. The end result is perfect, no tree and a good planting area left. The team were polite and efficient at every step. I would highly recommend them.”

“Many thanks for a good job in difficult circumstances, Three days work by great crews and very professional, 4 large fir trees , one very large ash tree 80ft thinned out and A overhanging bough reduced, plus 2 large sycamore branches halved, Very good email contact and updates, I have used them twice before with the same results, Would and will use them again, top marks 5 star 🌲🌲🌴🌴 Thanks From Geoff Of Bromley”

“DTE have just given the 6 trees in our garden a trim - as they have done on several occasions over the last 20 years or so. Always prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. They tidy up ours and the neighbours gardens when they have finished.”
