Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“DTE has carried out tree pruning work for us for many years. The online service covering quotations, invoices and receipts is always prompt and efficient. As usual, the present work (covering mature fruit trees, and perimeter trees and bushes) was carried with professionalism, courtesy and good humour. The uprisings were cleared up completely, and the garden was left in perfect condition.”

“Down To Earth Trees did a fabulous job. From the initial visit to calculate the quote to the work being done, they were faultless. The job was carried out efficiently, but with great care. The three gentlemen who came to our house were respectful, polite and quiet. The actual work was exactly what we asked for and executed perfectly. Afterwards, they tidied everything up and left it clean and tidy. I highly recommend using this company.”

“Third time I have used Down to Earth Trees, every time they have been efficient, thoughtful and careful. This time the young men were super polite, I would recommend to anyone. Horse chestnut tree now looks a very good shape. It even met the approval of my son who planted the conker 40 years ago.”

“Down To Earth were first class from start to finish in helping get the neccessary TPO paperwork to actually being on site and completing the work in a professional and considerate manner for our neighbours and ourselves. Their communication throughout was excellent as was the quality of the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who requires assistance on tree projects!!”

“Down To Earth Trees removed two trees for me and pruned three more, plus a hedge, all in one day. The whole process, from quoting to invoice, was highly professional and Frankie and Joe did a fantastic job on my trees, as well as tidying up the garden afterwards. “If you need a reliable professional company to work in your garden then I thoroughly recommend Down To Earth Trees. Initially a surveyor will visit to ascertain work required, Advice and suggestions are given followed by a quote. This year the work was mainly to cut back a mass of overgrown Ivy which had swamped a large section of fencing. The two guys worked solidly to complete the job, remove all the debris and finally left my garden in a clean and tidy condition. Very happy with the result.”
