“Quick delivery, previous nemotodes have been great. Ordered ladybird larve and most were dead, they were less than a mm, so of the 50 in the packet, I only have one eating the aphid infestation on my indoor plant and its taking a while!”

“I bought a sprayer for ne o slug Having read and followed all the instructions I got spraying but after half an hour the level of the liquid in the sprayer had not gone down at all, and I had to assume I was only sprYing with water!”

“I ordered chafer grub treatment 29/10/2024 hoping that due to the date of order that it may be rushed through as it is not supposed to be applied after the end of October. Order never arrive until 2nd November so I am quite dissapointed with amount of time it took to arrive, it was sent through normal mail.”

“Great service, but I'm never sure if the nematodes work. I find the instructions a bit confusing especially when I ordered neatodes for leather jackets and chafer grubs. They came with different instructions from different suppliers it seems. I wasn't sure if I could mix them together and do the spraying in one hit.”

“Ordered ladybird larvae very disapointed could only see one active! others just lots of black dots. Do not bbelieve any of them became active as they did not even reduce the number of flying pest. Would order adult ladybirde again but not these.”

Thanks for the review and if we use a mailer it is both compostable and biodegradable, so please be assured we do not use plastic mailers. Next time you get an order, check the mailer and it will have this information on it. Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

“Ordered encarsia and arrived as requested. White fly control however was very poor this year inthe greenhouse. This was ? due to low temperatures early in season so control did not survive (despite ordering more later) or just the very strange year - many things in the greenhouse have not behaved as usual as growth was so slow early in season (unheated green house). WE will clear out and clean and try again next year.”

“The nematodes I bought don’t appear to have worked (yet) although it’s only been a couple of weeks since application. That may have been down to delivery as the package was left in full sun on a very hot day. Regardless of that, the applicator hose attachment I bought is frustrating in its frailty and the container falls off unless it’s cradled throughout application.”

“I ordered 100 Ladybird larvae plus house and food. The items arrived safely but nothing emerged from the larvae. 3 weeks on and still nothing.”

“Well, the service and products are great but so far the jury is out as to what works for me. A couple of years ago, I then lived in Gloucestershire and ordered 250 adults lady birds and food to just release in my garden, which I never used sprays. The day they arrived in June, the weather was awful, cold, wet and windy. I released then in bags in bushes and I think most died, found a few dead ones but never noticed any live over the next few days. I now live in Dumfries and Galloway and recently bought 25 live ladybirds to release in my very small greenhouse and eat the greenfly. I watched them walk over the greenfly and didn't see any eat them, though they were very active and just disappeared. I provided a few shallow dishes with stones and water in but never saw them again. At the moment thinking this is a waste of money but planning next spring on lacewing and ladybird lava and see if that might work better.”

“The ladybirds I ordered came safely and quickly. All were alive and all seemed good. I put half in a sheltered area of my garden and half in the house. I did this in the evening as the instructions recommended. I went to check on them in the morning of the next day. All were gone, nowhere to be seen and I haven't seen one ladybird since then! What happened? Where did they go? I'm beginning to think they were a special breed of homing ladybird and the flew back to the supplier. Donald.”
