“I’ve bought Sciarid Fly Nematodes twice now also and Amblyseius Cucumeris Sachets for Thrips once from Green gardener for two separate pest problems over the span of two years, each time, I’ve had such great success with treating the pest problem using the Scairid fly nematodes so I’ve been incredibly happy that Green gardener provides a source for very affordable natural pest control… While also, the dispatch is always prompt with quick delivery and great email notifications of when orders have been received/dispatched.”

“Our beautiful espaliered crab apple trees have been blighted by woolly aphid almost since we got them. To my shame I have tried every insecticide and alternative methods including washing up liquid. Nothing has worked and they are not doing well at all. I don't know why I disnt try a natural method from the start but I'm already sewing a difference a week later - see picture below. I will set up a lacewing chamber now and do everything I can to keep my new friends happy! Thank you!”

“I ordered and used Amblyseius Andersonii for Fuschia gall mite, and Encarsia for whitefly, both in April, (so in good time), both have proved completely ineffective - very disappointed. I started early enough in the season with little or no evidence of the pests but over time, as usual, the whitefly multiplied to monster proportions and the gall mite returned. I also tried another supplier who use Koppert rather than BioLine for the Encarsia but it was the same. In total I purchased 14 weeks subscription but have now gone back to spraying for whitefly, which after 3-4 weeks has returned control from a disaster situation. Waste of money.”

“I've ordered ladybird larvae before and this time decided to get a rearing kit. Though the first batch did nothing, they kindly sent me a replacement l batch which produced lots of eggs and are now chomping their way through the greenfly on my pear tree. Fascinating !”

“I ordered a bag of ladybird larvae to help my poor little crabapple tree which was suffering under a huge infestation of greenfly. All the new leaves were withering. I didn't want to use poison and I didn't want to harm the ants who were farming them, just to redirect them and to save the tree I only planted the previous year. Well, when I saw how tiny they were I was a bit skeptical because I couldn't believe they could eat more than one greenfly eat and there were billions but wow!! They did the job! It was really incredible. I actually saw one of the larvae after a bit of time had passed and it was so much bigger after all its feasting. The leaves look recovered and the greenfly are almost gone. I think the tree can cope with the odd few, just not the heavy infestation there was previously. They really did an excellent job. I also followed the advice about putting vaseline on the tree trunk (and I squirted a tiny bit of washing up liquid on the vaseline as well as the ants were still walking into it at first) to stop the ants from climbing up the tree to farm the aphids/greenfly and protecting them from the ladybird larvae. I told the ants they are welcome elsewhere in the garden, but they aren't allowed in the tree because their farming methods are causing damage. They have agreed to keep to other areas and we are all happy now.”
