“Took too long to be delivered and once delivered the product didn’t even work. I set up the wasp trap exactly as stated and put it amongst 200 wasps and not a single wasp got trapped inside after a week! Not one single wasp! Gutted and disappointed”

“Both wasp repellents were useless. The wasps ignored the fake wasp nest and they were not put off by the wasp repellent.”

“I am extremely dissatisfied with the product. It does NOT DO WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO. All the marks are on the cards and the Whitefly are flourishing and multiplying vigorously on my cucumbers, tomatoes, and fuschias, in different locations ! I can show you pictures that will shock you ! Certainly not worth the Cost.”

Thanks for the review and sorry the encarsia has not worked. It is normally very reliable, so I am not sure why it has not worked for you. Can you email me (jon@greengardener.co.uk) the pictures you mention so I can check it is whitefly - do the whitefly fly off the plant if you gently shake the plant? Kind regards Jon @ Green Gardener

“Shocking customer service I have emailed this company four times to make contact about a fault item. Sent photos of the fault and they have not even had the decency to acknowledge my email! Very poor!!”

“My review does not matter to green gardener. I already wrote a review which they did not publish. I got live ladybirds who instantly disappeared. I may as well have opened my window and thrown my money away. I sent an email which insomuch said ‘well, they can fly away. Maybe they’ll come back.’ If I had considered this a possibility I would not have wasted my money.”

“This expensive garden table was certainly not worth it. Putting it together was not as easy as it was supposed to be as we had to drill our own pilot holes, although it said that there were some. Only one screw was provided for each leg. If we hadn't used two screws each the table would be even wobblier than it is now. We are having to buy some extra wood to attach diagonal strengthening planks. What a rip off!”

“I left a negative review a couple of weeks back because I was disappointed with my order. It wasn't rude and I wanted to give other customers information. But they didn't publish my review and left it 'pending'. I've not had any contact from them either. Don't trust a site that only publishes positive reviews and not negative - it's dishonest.”

“I requested a quote and simon was very genuine and likeable but he came back and said he could not help me. Being elderly this was not acceptable as I need help to maintain my garden. Obviously, only big garden jobs are wanted to make money. Great shame.”

“I was very disappointed with the red spider mite trap because, when it arrived, the instructions were clear that the temperature must be over 20C to work. That information wasn't supplied by Green Gardener before purchased I would not have bought it if I had known. It has turned out not to work even though I tried to raise the temperature above 20C in my greenhouse for a few hours. My first Green Gardener disappointment”

“Very poor service contacted them twice by E-mail because they sent me the wrong product. This was a Aquamix 1.25v and should have been a Nematode applicator AquaNemix 1.25v. Th e problem is the applicator they provide is no good for the use of leather jacket killer, read Birchmeier site. This was an expensive applicator. I would advise and new customer not to purchase from this company no customer service and failed to give and real feedback. I can only say very very poor service.”

“Almost half my ladybirds was dead on arrival, called up to be told I could only be given a partial refund of £4 and refused to send out more. When I complained about the packaging not even stating it had live in the envelope (a damn envelope! Was probably thrown around, stood on and all sorts on its way here) the phone was put down on me as I said I wouldn't use them again. I wouldn't even give one star tbh, how can you not care enough to make sure your ladybirds arrive in one piece? Ordered same size batch on eBay afterwards, all arrived alive, came in a box stating live on it and it was signed for. Maybe you should learn a thing or two from that experience? As I expected THAT eBay experience from a company called the Green Gardener tbh. Never again.”

“I'm not criticising the company but the product, nematodes for scarid fly and a soil coating of granules meant to deter the adults, didn't work at all. I see the flys settling on the granules and clearly breeding as we are now inundated with the flies.”
