“It was ok but i suggest you to use thicker white lines for the map, since after it’s printed, you can barely see the design uppon the black backround. I used a frame with glass and it’s even worse, you see just a big black square and the white letters down.”

Thank you so much for your feedback! In our frame that we supply we use a plastic glass, styrene, which reduces glare. As for the design our idea ,as I like to think of it, is for the map to be inspected closely to create an intimate experience with the viewer. The caption and message draws you to come close and when you reach there you see the real beauty of the stars. Usually, If you want the map to be clearer, it would have to be a larger size. “I was not too happy with the finishing of the product. The image online appears much more glossy and the stars seemed more vibrant in color.”

“Looking for an unusual present for our sons 50 Birthday. He has a keen interest in the Stars. Bought his first Telescope when he was 9yrs old. We ordered him a greaterskies star map of his birthdate, with a Frame. He was absolutely delighted. Goodt quality and excellant service.”

“I had a lot of difficulty trying to get information about an order that I placed. When it finally arrived, the frame was the wrong color! The quality is very good, but it is not what I ordered.”

As for the frame colour, apologies for this due to the multiple checks and changes I had made an error. “I’ve been very impressed with GreaterSkies, both from a product and customer service perspective. I left ordering too late, and when I contacted them they not only turned my order round very quickly, but gave me a download link so I could print out a mini version in time for my anniversary. They also ensured I received regular updates throughout the process. Thank you for your question. It is indeed a very good observation that not many people notice. The reason is that it is the standard way to display maps in Astronomy: traditionally all the stars charts are made like this. If you were lying on the ground in a starry night, looking up to the starry sky, vertically with your feet pointing South and your head North, the West would be at your right hand side and East on your left. It is basically the same effect as looking at your reflection in a mirror. I really hope this helped. “I would absolutely recommend Greaterskies! Greaterskies customer service is fantastic - I emailed prior to purchasing with some questions regarding international delivery and they promptly and clearly answered all my questions. I also had an issue with the delivery (not Greaterskies fault, an issue with the courier) and Greaterskies went above and beyond to rectify it. The poster itself looks fantastic and the gift recipient loved it. Such a beautiful way to mark a special moment in time.”

“The print quality was excellent. I just printed on photo paper at walgreens (which was so much faster because I didn't have time to wait since it was my anniversary! ). My husband, with teary eyes, said it meant so much to him and was the best gift he'd ever received. We also lived studying it and reading all ther names of constellations, stars and planets. It's amazing.”

“Awesome product, great customer service. Map is of the sky the night my wife and I met in 1974. We remember the many stars and the full moon but to have a record of the sky that night is special. Thanks!”
