“GoodSync works perfectly and is an excellent program for transferring data from a computer to an external hard drive. I use it to sync two geographically separated computers via my external hard drive. I use Microsoft 365, and my access to its cloud storage from up to 5 devices, including iPads and iPhones, renders GoodSync somewhat unnecessary; however, GoodSync gives me the ability to use my external hard drive as an "insurance policy" for data storage.”

“I've been using GoodSync since 2006 and love it. I have a lot of computers and file servers and GoodSync makes it easy to keep all of my working folders synchronized and backed up. I have millions of files and GoodSync is the only product I've found that doesn't choke.”

“I use my local drive to work with and daily back up to a network drive to ensure data security. Goodsync is simple to use but comprehensive enough to contaion all that I need for personal backup.”

“Being using now of years. Great product, not always pushy for upgrades. Use as backup to many my other computer and external drive. Tells what it did not copy. Dependable as h*** and does not cost a arm and a leg. Best thing is window backs up all over again "very slow" Only backs up changes "very fast"”

“I am using GoodSync to back-up all my CAD files. I work off my local drive, but back-up (sync) all my files to one of our network drives (a total of about 153 GB, which equals almost 202,000 files in 2,200 folders). The analysis usually takes 3-4 minutes and the sync another 3-5 minutes. Works great and I feel comfortable that my files are safe if something should happen to my local hard drive.”

“GoodSyncis the only software I've found which gives me complete control over how I use cloud storage, rather than using the various vendors' very limited offerings. I had only needed a solution for Google Drive but I am very pleased that Goodsync works with pretty much every cloud storage provider out there. I'm also pleased that the user interface has improved since I first purchased GoodSync. GoodSync was also very affordable. My only complaint is that I was not at all impressed with the email technical support provided for GoodSync users. I would ask a very specific question and get a generic answer to another question entirely. It was like we weren't even existing in the same galaxy. I gave up on that and just found answers for myself. Like a lot of technical support out there, users are best served by communicating with one another on user forums.”

“GoodSync is easy to set up and use and it is fast. You can set it up to Sync your files in one direction or both directions. You can automate the syncs or manually start them. You can now backup/sync files to OneDrive, although I haven't tried it yet. I use it to backup all of my important folders including my 65,000 photos. Last year I lost the primary drive for my photos. Since I had recently backed them up with GoodSync I was able to recover them from my backup drive. I can recommend GoodSync without reservation.”

“I fully believe in backing up all of my data. I do not keep personal files on a dedicated drive, no personal information on C: drive. I back up critical data to two separate external drives and non critical to an external drive dedicated for that data. GoodSync jobs makes it easy to organize and manage my backups. I have no plans to look for a different backup solution. Thanks for a great application.”

“This is hands down the best back-up, shared docs, file transfer service I've ever used. It has been particularly life saving since I work with large quantities of large files. Good sync makes it easy to efficiently copy large files, it does a great job of keeping track of which files are where. The automatic back up features allow me to not worry about what will happen when my computer or hard drive crashes, and the ability to transfer files back and forth to different computers has been a dream. I am very happy with this program and worth every penny.”
