“Simple to use but with the tools to control and schedule sophisticated copy, backup and sync routines. I spent a long time researching the market for this type of software and GoodSync was my saviour!”

“GoodSync is a great backup software package. I wouldve given 5 stars but after the last update i can no longer backup my microsoft onedrive with my hard drive as it tells me to update to version 10. When i check for updates it says its already up to date. Thats a huge problem for me because i backup my personal and my companies files from hard drive to onedrive. Now im a sitting duck until this next update.”

“Only using the basic operations. It has always performed well no problems and fast. The interface is basic but functional and very easy to use. The back-up option is useful.”

“I love the 'set it and forget it' feature. Once my backups are configured (piece of cake) they update reliably in the background. I do check that it is still working by checking logs periodically but that's just me and a bit of paranoia. Keep up the good work.”

“It serves a number of needs. I have Goodsync set to backup changes to from removable hard drive every two hours to the NAS here at the office. In the event I leave the removable at home or (heaven forbid) it someday crashes, I am safe. Likewise, if I overwrite a file by accident and need to "get it back", then (if within the two-hour window), I can grab the original file from the NAS. Also, I have my family photos set to backup across a number of drives on a regular basis. Goodsync is fast, easy-to-use and reliable. What more could you ask for?”

“I've been using Goodsync for a long time now. Syncing my server with my workstation in various drives configurations. All of my project files rely on this software. I need to constantly keep at least 2 copies of files at the same time. And I work on very big projects with thousands of files each. Goodsync for a few times saved my ass saving incremental files of my projects. When I had an electricity issue and everything got down, my main project files were dead. Lot's of work to make again. But I had set up saving different versions of files so I could find the previous version (and I click CTRL+S pretty often) and start working again without too big delay. Reliable, fast working, great customization options. The best for me and I have tried few other syncing solutions belive me, so I know what I'm talking about. Very, very recommended! Adrian”

“Moves data between Google Drive and local drives. But it stopped working with google (permission problems). Worked quite a while, configured to not use _gsdata_ files, etc. Very annoying when you try to stop it...takes several minutes to kill all the parallel processes with 30 sec delays between each. So right now, GoodSync is totally broken for my application of moving data from Google Drive to Local drive. Goodsync updated to V10 and requires me to repurchase the license. No, not going to do it. Goodsync takes 45 minutes to scan the 10 TB folder tree and forgets everything it know between restarts.”
