Hello, Thanks for the review. Sorry to hear you're having problem getting a quote in your partner's name. This is very easy to resolve, all you need to do is log out of your account. There was no obvious wat of choosing a quote once you have decided on one. .Then once you have fathomed that out and paid for the selected quote, there was no way to download a copy of the selcted tramsaction

Once on the results page you select the pink'view details' button which provides you with the option to call the insurer or purchase on line via the direct site, but we apologise if you feel this was not transparent. The top 2 quotes when I went to their sites were both wrong by a minimum of 200 pounds. When I spoke with the companies they told me that you had under estimated the risk.

Products offered on the go compare as part of the deal, not included in the offer when redirected to the other company website, could be bought as an up sell. Disclaimer on go compare saying read offer carefully on other site. Not impressed, won’t be back!

Found a great deal then went and opened the web site for the provider Spoke to them and realised I haven’t used my cherished reg number. They told me to go back to gocompare and change the number or they would charge me £12.50 After changing the number the price went up by nearly £300 Same car but with my number. A bit unfair as the provider said there was nothing they could do.

I was mainly only interested in price and got prices from 3 other firms. Comparing like with like you were uncompetetive, and I placed my insurance elsewhere at a substantially cheaper price. You ask would I recommend you to others, this statement I have made surely speaks for itself, sorry

had a quote from hastings essential when we went to pay they doubled the quote price so had to return and find another insurance company this is the 3rd time ive had this happen

The 30 day quote guarantee was not upheld. Rang company with best quote to query this and was told that prices change when you look at details. Not happy

Insurers use real time pricing, so prices do change daily therefore we don't offer a 30 day price guarantee as we can't say for definite that the insurers will hold the price. When getting quotes, it's always best to get them as early as possible, to get the lowest prices and if you see one you like you will need to purchase it on the same day. Too many questions that do not relate to having car insurance for example why do you need to know someones marital status ?

Your original recommendation was for Admiral. They turned out to be crooks. They are not to be trusted. In addition I object to you automatically included extra's such as driving abroad which collectively significantly increases the premium. The vast majority of drivers do not need this cover or others that are included. IF I WANT EXTRA'S I WILL ASK FOR THEM. I DO NOT WANT YOU TO DICTATE WHEREAS OTHERS WHICH ARE PROBABLY ESSENTIAL ARE NOT INCLUDED. On the other hand a courtesy car is an extra and not automatically included. You know that most customers will need this cover that is why you make it an extra.

If you're doing up a house to sell, ring the policy company to check cover first because the basic questions aren't appropriate for this and I had a company refuse to cover when I checked even though they came up first, meaning I wouldn't have been covered had I taken it out and something had happened!

Not very good experience. Overall cost are so high and no matter what you do I just could not find cheap car insurance. Been driving for 10 years no claims and still insurance is treating me like a 18 year old who just passed . Need to search and browse more efficiently
