I claimed the £250 excess cover should I need it. I followed the inscreen instructions which worked fine. HOWEVER when you passed me across the the "supplier" website by "antivirus" software Avast flagged a "problem" and advised me not to proceed onto the site because of "phising" problems. I was very disappointed but I took the software's advise and brought my insurance from another supplier.

Go Compare quote said £199 but when diverted to site I was quoted £265. No delay, same day quote and no extras added. Go Compare has always been good before.

Insurers use real time pricing, which means that prices are only guaranteed at the time of the quote. It’s very likely that your quotes will change if you return to buy later. I have just sent an e mail as I am unable to claim my free excess cover because were it says about insurer there is nothing for the aa which I took out through your web site.

Hello Christopher, Thanks for getting in touch. To confirm The AA is listed on the form however, it is listed under T and not A. The official name is The AA, so if you can return to the form and search in the T area you will find The AA. Thanks, Dan.

When I ask for quotations that include things I expect them to be filtered as such. Not have to look minutely at every quote and then add what I had asked for in the first place.

Things were going well with my first obtaining of this years offers, but I left it overnight to think it over. On trying to revisit the same quotations it seemed impossible. I had made my decision by then, so I had to use Go compare to complete the deal. Bad for you and bad for me because it cost an extra £6, but I just wanted it done and out of my hair. I hope you can do better next time, as I do prefer you generally.

My imported car has an automatic gearbox, I could select the make and model on here but not with an auto box so had to buy my car insurance elsewhere.

When buying insurance...from an insurer..all the details changed and price quoted went from £288.00 to £380.00...3 hrs spent trying to rectify the situation.........got insurance elsewhere....cheaper than the £288.quoted....poor service and back-up recommend shopping around......

I still hav'nt got insurance because the price keeps jumping day to day for same product. surely this is just taking money because you can and not because you need to.

I tried to save a quote for later I used a 18 word password I was told it wasn't strong enough. I AM SAVING A QUOTE FOR CAR INSURANCE NOT THE CROWN JEWELS.

RE: Car Insurance. After extensive online research I elected to use Go Compare and their recommended best buy policy with Hastings, yet when I selected and accepted the quote I was unable to pay, so followed up the following morning by telephone to be told the quote was no longer available and the policy would be more expensive. Whilst Go Compare cannot be held responsible for insurers quotes I don't understand why you promote best buys which the customer cannot then access. I tried to purchase three different policies through Go Compare just to check Hastings website didn't have a fault, but they were all the same; when I proceeded to payment the screen froze. I don't understand why you can promote deceased policies? I am annoyed at I spent a lot of time viewing car insurance and Go Compare were not great.

Once I was transferred to the insurance / agent’s webpage it was an awful experience; Pages took ages to load; it kept asking me the same questions; five times I tried on two days, even rang the company’s help line, and they wanted to charge me £12.50 to talk to the them! I tried it on two different browsers and the experience was the same. Very painful. Managed it in the end with a lot of patience. FYI my laptop and Broadband were not the problem. Try it for yourself GoCompare.

Although the quotes initially appeared cheaper once you added everything in they were more expensive than my renewal quote. So very disappointing.

I found it impossible to have a quote for my grandson as the web page was in my name it always reverted to me, not helpful went elsewhere and found a good quote

your lowest quote was well over £2000. I have a quote of just over £1000 from another source.

The quotes that I first got seemed to change very quickly if you input the exact same information which is totally off putting, I was looking for car insurance with the lowest quote coming in at £496:00 two days later that same quote with the same information shot up to £776:00. Not great inspiration to make you want to come back
