To much money to turn up and stand there and do nothing and just stand say what it could be then say it’s the gas.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your freezer was not repairable due to the gas needing to be replaced. This is not something we recommend as it is not guaranteed to repair the appliance and would usually be beyond economical repair.

The technician arrived in good time and took only a couple of minutes to identify the problem with our Zanussi washing machine: a band joining two pullies had broken. It took him a few minutes more to find that Zanussi no longer supply this spare part. e suggested we try an elastic band. We did and it does not work. The band is made by Megadyne. We have tried to find it on their website without success so far. So we paid £80 for advice but no solution to our problem.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear your washer dryer has not been repaired due to the parts being unavailable. I have taken another look to see if there is any alternatives available but unfortunately there are not. I am afraid that until the engineer attends to diagnose the exact part needed we were unable to see if this part was available. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Many thanks Glotech

Needed new oven seal which I had to pay for up front. They called asking if they could come a day early to install the seal. I was taking out my mother for her birthday so said no. However they said they would come early so I agreed. They didn’t come in time. Rearranged the repair for the following week, phoned me on the day to say they didn’t know where the part was so couldn’t come and would contact me. They didn’t so had to contact them again and even though they still didn’t have the part made another date for repair the following week, a morning time slot. Did not arrive until late afternoon and charged me £82 for 2 minutes work. Really not happy with the service. Have to say the client service girls were very sorry and apologised.

We called Glotech out as our washer dryer had stopped working. They came out the next day so we didn’t have to wait long to get it sorted. The engineer was friendly and professional. Would certainly use again and recommend to friends.

Hello, I have taken a look into this on our system and can see we tried to contact you to obtain a parking permit but there was no contact so the engineer was unable to attend. Apologies if this has caused any issues.

The problem is that the call goes into a National call centre and impossible To speak with the local Site. After 5 calls, 3 emails all to no avail, I cut my losses and lost the call out fee and used a true local company. Definitely would not recommend!!

They turned upon time. Fixed cost already agreed. Knew their stuff. We had to wait for some parts but everything has been working since. It was a Whirlpool fridge/freezer and the ice dispenser and water part had stopped working. Thank you Glotech!

I book a fridge freezer repair online and gave them the make and model. On the day the engineer was due to call, I received text message saying the engineer was unavailable and a new appointment had been booked for two days later. I telephoned them for a time and was told they could not give a time, so I force to wait in all day. When the engineer called, he diagnosed the problem as a faulty sensor which he said he would order. I then happened mentioned that the fridge freezer had always been noisy right from new. with this he dives in pulls out the heater wraps black insulating tape around it and said I needed a heater as well and leaves. A couple of days later I receive a message form Glotech saying they can't get the heater so they would not be repairing my fridge freezer, I telephone them and ask them to replace the sensor but they flatly refused. I paid £81.54 for nothing Glotech had the fridge freezer model when I booked it online, they never mentioned that they could not get the parts then. The heater was only an afterthought by the engineer, and you don't wrap plastic tap round heater that gets hot. the sensor was available, but Glotech refused to fix it. Just one big rip off from start to finish.

We do our utmost to attend on the date and time requested, however occasionally we are not able to attend on the requested date. We will always make our best effort to arrange for the soonest suitable date for you. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this caused. I am sorry to hear your appliance has not been repaired as the part was not available. Although the parts may not have been available with Bosch directly, our suppliers can often source universal parts that would fit. Unfortunately this is not always the case, but we would not be able to find this out until we know which part is needed once the engineer has attended. The fault you had described could be caused by various faults which is why we require the engineer to attend to diagnose exactly which part is faulty. All of our engineers are field based, so we do not have any in the office to be able to diagnose the fault and parts needed before a visit.
