Everything was very efficient from the booking system to the arrival of the electrician. However very disappointing to have paid over £90 for a visit only to be told that the appliance was not repairable.

On this occasion I managed to sort the problem myself but I have used Glotech several times in the past and have found them efficient, friendly and helpful. On this occasion I cancelled a visit at short notice with no problems I Glotec will always be my first port of call!

This company will ask you for money if you book a call without sending an engineer. They are bullying me constantly to pay for a service they haven't provided. Stay away this is a scam...horrible horrible practices.

Please provide your details so that this can be fully investigated. If an engineer has attended your property then we should be paid for the service provided if no engineer attended we would not be charging for a service and when payment is made upfront if the repair is cancelled before the engineer attends the property a refund would be given. Please email your details to repairs@glotech.com email address for a customer service executive to investigate fully and respond in full. Without your details and chance for a fair reply, this is a very unfair review Thank you

I PREPAID GLOTECH TO REPAIR A FAULTY BEKO WASHING MACHINE. I REQUESTED THEM TO NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY WOULD ATTEND, THEY DID NOT AND GAINED ACCESS VIA THE TENANTS. THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE QUOTED PART, THEY GOT THE MACHINE WORKING BUT LEFT IT MAKING A DREADFUL NOISE. GLOTECH THEN QUOTED AN ADDITIONAL £165 TO REPAIR THE MACHINE. I REQUESTED BARCLAYCARD TO STOP THE PAYMENT. GLOTECH THEN ISSUED A SECOND AMENDED INVOICE WHILST BARCLAYCARD WERE STILL INVESTIGATING MY CLAIM, WHICH BARCLAYCARD TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DO. ALTOGETHER GLOTECH OFFER A TERRIBLE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND HAVE AN AGGRESSIVE APPROACH TO THEIR CLIENT. DONT USE THEM!!

Good afternoon, I am sorry to be reading this it is a very disappointing review from you. The engineer attended the property and reset the stat switches, other parts were required to be ordered to resolve this, various team members and our engineering Manager and accounts tried to contact you to discuss this from April onwards- unsuccessfully. We carried out a service for which you have not paid, the engineer attending the property, diagnosing faults on your appliance, he worked on the appliance whilst there and identified parts required to resolve the problems with your appliance. You chose not to proceed with the repair and not to pay for parts which we understand however we provided you with the service and the options for which there is a charge payable this is all we have asked you for.

I had a repair job on the kitchen hood booked with Glotech at my home. Job number 1041478. Their technicians came several time and invoiced me for parts and labour each time. They could not fix the hood and abandoned the job. Only refunded money for the parts. I suggested them to replace the whole hood rather than trialling component by component replacement which has turned out to be more expensive than the hood. Due to some reason they don't seems to be interested in solving the issue.

Thank you for your feedback, looking at your repair, you reported a fault with the hood, the engineer did everything he could to repair this for you however some items are then deemed beyond economical repair if the identified parts do not resolve the issue and there are further issues uncovered with an appliance which means the cost of replacing all relevant parts is more than an economical cost to replace as in the case with your hood. We do realise that this is disappointing for a customer and this is why you have been refunded for the parts. If you wish you could email to repairs@glotech.com as to what your expectations are beyond the refund for any parts. Thank you

My booking was cancelled with no notice and no email to confirm. I turned up to address and waited all day for engineer to find out at half 3 that it had been cancelled days earlier. It still needs fixing.

Booked a repair with Glotech who I have used before. Initially for the following day they then sent an email changing it for two days later. They also asked for payment at this point but I refused to pay for a service two days before they were even going to attend! The engineer attending was excellent, the fault was identified and a part ordered and this is where I felt let down. I paid for the repair and parts at this point which I had to do, three days later I received a text saying they had the part in stock but when I contacted them they could not give me another time slot for repair over a week, I just feel like they now had my money so I was now at the bottom of the list of repairs. One to think about when booking online, they will give you a next day slot for repair but this seems to be a way of then getting the job. I’m sure if payment wasn’t until completion things would be different. See what happens in a weeks time!!! 🤬

I am very happy with the service I received from Glotech, after being told by another washing machine repairer that Samsung are a nightmare to repair, I received a very quick response and quote from Glotech, repairing my machine within a week of finding the fault, ordering the replacement part and fitting it. The engineers were prompt and very efficient, communication was good via emails and text messages, I am one very satisfied customer. Thank you

Geotechnical couldn’t provide a fitter the next day (Monday) after I’d booked on line. They booked one for the Tuesday instead ,when I wasn’t available and followed up with a phone call at 7.30am Monday morning. I rearranged it for the Thursday but they still sent a fitter on Tuesday then cancelled my Thursday appointment as I wasn’t home! Luckily they sent an email informing me I wasn’t in so could contact them and after a good argument with the booking clerk they reinstated the Thursday appointment. The fitter who attended was on time + very good.

It is disappointing that you did not receive the standard of service that Glotech aims to offer all of our customers and it would appear that this was a mixture of system booking error and then human error for which we can only apologise for the inconvenience and disruption this caused. we are however really pleased that the outcome and the engineer attending was able to uphold the customer service for us. - thank you again.

Glotech engineer was very knowledgable and efficient. Diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a suitable solution. Admin staff was also very helpful. She produced three options of varying price ranges for induction hobs from which to choose from. This was done quickly and competently. All round excellent service!

The freezer had been turned off due to incessant beeping. The engineer came in and said if it’s beeping it’s broken. Said he can’t mend freezers as everything is internal and charged £99.

Good afternoon your repair was booked online with the fault simply described as "Its not working" a qualified engineer attended and had the fault being something repairable he would have willingly fixed the problem or identified parts required to do so, the engineer diagnosed that your appliance had internal leakage which he deemed as unrepairable. You may have misunderstood his diagnosis it was not that he cants mend freezers but indeed that the faults with your appliance made it unrepareable. We understand that it is a difficult time when our appliance is no longer functioning however this was beyond repair. we hope that you have successfully replaced your appliance and the new one gives you many years of great service
