Prompt service and would seem to have fixed the problem with our freezer by replacing the door seal. The fitter was very obliging and would use this company again.

Dish washer had ceased functioning with no obvious fault. Contacted Glotech on the Tuesday & engineer Joe arrived on the Thursday. Established the problem (faulty sensor within the water inlet pipe), ordered the part & fitted the following Tuesday. No fuss, no mess & no additional call out fee, just the price of the part. Machine now works perfectly. Very happy customer.

Very efficient and reliable. Carried out repairs to a fitted double fan oven which required a replacement element. Always quite a queue waiting when telephoning but I guess they are popular and busy. Not the cheapest labour cost I have ever seen, but as I say an efficient and professional service.

CHECK THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR APPLIANCE BEFORE USING GLOTECH. Repair booked online, I advised that the Make and Model Number and I thought the Bearing was noisy. Engineer at attended as scheduled and advised the Bearings are not available for the Make and Model. Full Call Out Fee still charged.

Speedy Engineer next day appointment. From start Engineer gave confidence in his professionalism, knowledge of appliance, meticulous to detail, had all equipment and tools to carry out thorough job in a logical manner. Analysis and remedy within 20 mins. Provided advice on way forward. Engineer was always polite and informative.

I was super impressed with the slick online booking system, which clearly worked. Joe landed promptly on the morning of the day specified. Identified the problem, sorted in a flash. Showed me exactly what the problem had been. Very helpful and clearly a bloke who cared about his work. Would use these guys again in a heartbeat(quick spin) :-)

This review relates to a Fridge/freezer unit only. Glotech repaired a cooker timer unit as well, and that all went well. As far as the fridge is concerned, we had to wait about a week (from initial contact - so why does the voice over on the telephone queuing system tell us that 80% of issues are dealt with in 24 hours?)) for an engineer to arrive and to diagnose a non-working fridge. The opinion was that the temperature controller had failed and it needed a new control board. Parts ordered and paid for, re-visit booked (another week), Engineer fitted parts, proclaimed it working. However, it wasn't. The temperature control dial wasn't actually coupled with anything and span freely. The fridge still wasn't getting cold (in fact, it was warmer inside the fridge than the then outdoor temperature). Left it another week or so to see if it would "settle (as advised by engineer) but after another week, contacted Glotech again - and had to wait another 8 days to get a return visit. At that visit, the compressor was deemed as running very hot, and there was evidence of gas loss. Why wasn't that diagnosed on the first visit 6 weeks earlier? The unit is beyond economical repair (despite being only 3 years old - BEKO - be warned!!). The like for like replacement offered by Glotech was £50 more expensive that Euronics standard price and the "install new/remove old" service was £50 more than that offered by AO, John Lewis, Euronics, et al. So, although they offer to refund 50% of the call out service charge if you buy from them, the higher purchase costs and the (frankly exorbitant) install/remove fee nullifies that offer. I'm not, as you might gather, particularly impressed.

I had read a few unsavory reviews, so I was a bit concerned . I had absolutely no need to be when Chris the engineer called me prompt on the morning of the scheduled repair. He waited until i got back from the school run. Came in fixed freezer with ease working out problem very quickly. He was polite pleasant efficient and very professional. I would most definitely use Glotech again without hesitation if this is the excellent service you receive. Thankyou Plus very reasonable price.

Telephoning to make an appointment was the hardest process! Having to pay upfront for the repair surprised me - but perhaps is understandable. Engineer was very helpful and would recommend the company.

Nothing was repairs unfortunately, although the engineer “diagnosed” the issue but he was very poor in explaining the problem. And when I asked him again just to get proper sense and f what the problem was, he just told me “you can ask as many times as you like, my job is to check the problem for you and it’s not fixable”. Then I got a second opinion which was slightly different from what he said the problem was and my appliance is now fixed. Though some of his suggestions was mentioned and repaired/replaced too but I found it a waste of money and time unfortunately.
