I am left feeling very disgruntled with Glotech. I do understand that without actually seeing a broken Washing Machine a diagnosis cannot be made. But to be charged £82 for a technician to come just to look at my machine turn a few switches and then declare that it’s broken ( which I knew already that’s why I called Glotech ) and that I need a new machine and then leave my house to his next appointment after approximately just 9 mins makes me feel like I have paid for absolutely nothing. Why would you not offer a partial refund when very little or no work has been done?. When I called to discuss this matter I was told that Glotech might be able to offer me a discount on installation on of my new machine if I bought it from them, but why would I buy any goods from them when I feel I have been cheated!. I will not be using this company again.

Did a good job but cost £160 for an hour for 2 appliances so not value for money as there were minor faults and no parts required

The engineer could not fix my washing machine . He spent 5 minutes in my house but the company refused to refund some of the call out charges unless I bought a washing machine from them but not of my choice.

I have a problem with my Hotpoint fridge/freezer, making a ticking noise. The engineer who came had been before when I reported it to a local firm. He did not solve the problem then. I chose a different firm this time, but the same man arrived. He examined my appliance, adjusted a couple of things, and assured me it was not a fire risk as I was worried about that. However, the ticking is still there, albeit not as much. In an open-plan lounge/kitchen, it is annoying to keep hearing the tick. The engineer was very pleasant and tried his best to ease my worries, but I still have an appliance which ticks.

The fixer turned up slightly early, but luckily I had just got home. The machine seemed to work O K but I will find out for sure, when, in the next day or 2 I run it. What I would like is a reminder of the other services that go with the the repair which you mentioned when I first booked in. Please send me a reminder

Worst company l have ever dealt with. They take your call out money £93 54 they condem your unit they Then give you an exorbitant quote for a replacement when you try to contact them they just fob you off. They have your money they are not interested any more. I don't know how the family sleep at night. We have had to go else where for a new fridge freezer which we got at half the price including installation and taking away the old unit. But with the delay caused by them we had to throw away a lot of food that we couldn't freeze. I am disgusted with the treatment we have had. We are in our seventies and are struggling to live with the cost of living as it is and to have this done to us was the last straw. Shame on you Glotech.

Good afternoon, I am sorry to read your displeasure with the service and I sense your frustration, however in reply I would like to say that you called to make the booking with us on the 24th the engineer attended on the 26th the date agreed with you as the available booking. At this point you could have chosen to try and find a company with an engineer available to attend quicker as our engineer in your area was fully booked until as we say the 26th, a qualified engineer attended, diagnosed and he was able to inform you of the compressor issues had it been repairable this would have been carried out, we then offered you a quote for a replacement appliance, you were quoted a replacement on the 27th. You chose to source the appliance elsewhere as we could not compete with the price. Your faulty appliance was not working effectively prior to your booking and our attendance therefore we are sorry that you had food waste, but this cannot be deemed as our responsibility. We wish you well with your new appliance and hope that it gives you good and long service.

Booked an appointment. Appointment was confirmed. Booked a day off work to allow for the work to take place, just had a call to say that there are no available engineers and will have to rebook the appointment. Unacceptable to be called on the day of the appointment to be told no one’s coming. Why allow the appointments to be confirmed when there aren’t engineers available? Complete waste of time.

Good afternoon I am sorry to read that your booking was unsuccessful. I can see from the system notes that you booked online on the 2nd and the online booking system should have sent out an automatic reply to you saying that a member of the customer service team would be in touch to confirm until that point this is only a provisional booking. You were contacted on the morning of the 3rd, We take on board your criticism of the delay in response and will be looking at the speed with which the team would be able to respond to the online bookings making the service more efficient. Unfortunately, your engineer could not mend our CDA fridge. It hurts when you have to pay to find out your fridge is unrepairable.

Glotech sent out an engineer in August. He diagnosed a small washer part missing in fridge freezer door. It's now November. This isn't fixed but obviously I been charged for this job. Many calls later I have given up waiting for this to be sorted out. Apparently unable to source the part. Will not be using again. V disappointed and out of pocket

Very poor service as my appointment was cancelled and no-one from Glotech let me know. I took the time off work especially to give access to the engineer. I will not be using Glotech again.
