bad bad bad, 2nd time I have had them back, first time the engineer, called Max said it was fixed(washing machine) then after 1 cycle, water started leaking badly and had to stop the water inlet pipe - had to shut it off. He was fast to take the £81 and stated all fixed, you have 3 months if the same issue arises!! i stated to him is he sure its fully fixed as water is all over the floor - he stated its residue. So he come back today with a new Pump, cost of £91. he fitted it in and stated its fixed, i told him to run a cycle, a quick one and i could see not drain error, which was the initial issue - U11 error. That evening my missus ran a full cycle, guess what, the who place flooded. as per pictures. i will call them tomrorow, oh no, its sunday, would not expect anything from them anytime sooner to fix the problem, its been made worse and a shoddy tradesmen, who does not put things back properly. the bottom of the washing machine is also missing the cover and a piece is not fitted in properly it seems!!

Brilliant service. Booked a service call on line for the following day - they came when they said they would, found the fault with our fridge freezer, ordered the part and the repair was done the following week. Engineer was efficient, polite and arrived when he said he would. Can't fault this company.

I phoned Glotech on Tuesday, they were efficient and helpful on the phone sending an engineer out on the Thursday of the same week. The engineer was friendly and knowledgeable. Our dishwasher was repaired within 45 minutes with the new part it needed. Very happy, great service!

Easy to organise and Andrew who repaired my fridge kept me informed from contacting me to advise time of arrival to fault and cost. Very efficient and polite.

Service was excellent. There seems to be a blip in communications, however; your engineer confirmed that our Hotpoint dishwasher was not worth repairing. If we need help with its replacement, we'll certainly be in touch again.

Had a visit from Gavin today to repair a dishwasher. Very professional, pleasant and he explained everything as he went along and found and repaired the fault. Would recommend to friends and will definitely use you again in the future.

Do not book repairs with them. They take payment upfront before the arrive. Charge you for parts before they've seen anything and then cancel multiple times. Terrible service.

Hello If we can, we will try to diagnose the parts needed before the visit as this saves us having to book a revisit to fit parts thus saving our customers time so they can go about their daily life. We would always notify you of this if we have ordered a part as it could take a day or so more to come in so we will rebook the appointment once the part is available. I am sorry to hear your appointment was cancelled more than once, this is not our usual service.

Today i had a chap come over to look at my washing machine drainage issue, after 30 minutes he stated he fixed the issue and stated all good. I noticed lots of water at the bottom, so he stated it just needs wiping up. i wiped up and left it for 10 mins. i come back more water and when i opened the front flap, the drain pipe is not where it should be. it's been placed inside of the washing machine. i called customer service and the engineer, engineer does nto answer and the customer service states the engineer has finished and will not be able to come back. they have now stated its a few days until they get the engineer back. I am hoping they do return int he next days as this is not great to be honest.

I made an appointment for the repair of my AEG Microwave last Friday 30th September and my call was dealt with efficiently, advising me that I could expect the engineer on Monday 3rd October. I received a call on Saturday 1st October to say they couldn't gat the spare part in time and we rearranged the appointment for today Wednesday 5th October. I received a call just after 9am from the engineer to say he would be with me at 10.45 which he was and my house is not easy to find. The part was fitted immediately without any fuss by an engineer who would be a credit to any company. Thankyou Glotech for a very professional service.

Terrible - booked an engineer via Glotech to come out on Monday AM between 8 and 1. Didn't show up. Called Glotech and took me 10 minutes to get through When I did speak to someone, they said they would speak to the appointed engineer whilst I was on hold. However, they transferred me to another company called FirstFix Conractorsand the phone just rang out. I obtained the direct number for FirstFix and tried to call them throughout the day but nobody answered the phone. I finally received a call the day after from an Engineer from FirstFix - he said they didn't receive a proper notification for the job from Glotech. He was very apologetic and said he could come out later that day but I had already booked an engineer from another company. Definitely wouldn't use Glotech again

Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry for the confusion and that the engineer did not turn up on the expected date and time. The information was sent through to the local engineer as soon as you book the repair so they should have received this. We are going to take some time to look into this and find out if there was a technical issue or administration error. Either way we apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Before you arrange an appointment, try and establish what might be at fault over the phone and if it makes economic sense to fix it! I paid £80 for the pleasure of an engineer looking at the fridge for 30 seconds and declaring its not fixable. Which is the only reason why I've given Glotech 2 stars as they could have give me a discount. Now I'm hesitant to use a repair company again. The engineer and customer service were otherwise professional.

They came out very quickly for an initial visit, quickly identified the problem, made a speedy part order and returned within 3 days to make a full repair. Excellent service, really friendly and helpful, communication was straightforward and efficient. Heartily recommend.

One fabulous engineer. Rest of company and processes utter rubbish. Parts initially turned away from parts dept so more delay rhen parts travelled across Uk before reaching us probably why they were broken. Only one customer advisor showed any care and tried to help only to have everything changed by a jobsworth head of engineering the day before visit planned. Caused much inconvenience and annoyance. Will be writing to MD. Honestly could not recommend company.

Repair man was great, although replacement part was £600 wanted to buy replacement microwave from GloTech but even though they would have returned to fit the part as it’s included in the the £90 call out for free they wanted to change for someone to fit the new microwave. Madness. Was told by customer service “we don’t do that we charge for installation”. Bought microwave fitted elsewhere for £100 less.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear the engineer who attended was great. It is unfortunate that the parts needed for your repair were some of the most expensive parts that could have become faulty and this was beyond economical repair. Our sales department and repairs department are separate and we do not use the same engineers for repairs as we do for the installations so this is why you would be charged separately for the installation cost. I am sorry if this was not made clear to you at the time.
