Had a problem with out hide and slide oven door after taking it off to clean. Contacted these guys by email and responded back within the day and came the nxt day. Excellent service. Engineer was polite and got the job done in a little longer than in allocated time but all good 👍

I filled in the request form online stating that my Miele washing machine was not working. I stated quite clearly that “ the drum is not moving and therefore not spinning” When the engineer arrived she tried to move the drum and said “the drum isn’t moving the bearings are gone… you can’t fix it it needs a new drum” she went in to quote me over £400 for a new drum!! I tuned down the offer and she left! I paid £117.54 for a call out for a fault that they could have diagnosed based in my request form alone I was very disappointed as local repair men won’t touch Miele machines as they are sealed units and impossible to access. It just seems that a professional “Miele” repair engineer should have known this without seeing it ( and costing me over £100 for a visit) The engineer only told me what I already knew…. The drum isn’t moving!! I’m not very happy as I’ve since had to pay £280 for a new machine ! And feel the £117.54 I paid you was an unnecessary waste of money

I would not go near these people. I feel thoroughly ripped off by them. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. If not just through your broken product away and buy retail their prices are around 40% more than most outlets

Hello Iain, Thank you for your review. Although this is not a good review, it gives us the opportunity to continually improve our service. When we quote for a replacement appliance we sell these are the RRP suggested from our suppliers. Unfortunately unlike bigger brands and companies we do not have the margin to be able to discount these appliances. We are a family run company and do not have the access to bulk buy like other larger retailers do. But we will always do our best to compete where we can.

I booked an appointment with them on the 23rd and they arrived on the 28th. Because that was the earliest appointment. They told me something wasn’t right with the valve in my dishwasher and they advised I needed a replacement which costs on top of the initial service I received on the day. I was told they would order a new part and fix it for me in a few days. I paid them money. Then a couple of days later someone from the company emails me to say they aren’t able to repair my appliance on this occasion, sorry. I am very disappointed, and quite frankly need to be ware of companies who take a call out fee. They just take your money. That’s just my experience and I don’t wish for this to happen to anyone else.

Booked a repair on Saturday 24th, Glotech engineer (Dean) arrived Tuesday 27th, Dean called 15 minutes before arrival and was courteous and conscientious - Brilliant turn round from order and communication. The repair was for a De-Dietrich combi-microwave and a De-Dietrich built in oven about ~12 years old, so spares unavailable / difficult to come by. Nonetheless, Dean was able to isolate the fault in the Combi-Microwave and get the Microwave back working (which is what we use). He was also able to address the problem with the built in over, although time will tell if that was a temporary or permeant fix. Glotech are checking to see if they can locate spares so that the combi microwave can be fully functioning again.

Very disappointed. Booked engineer on Monday told a time between 2pm and 5pm on Wednesday and would call half an hour before. Engineer turned up on Tuesday with no notice, so nobody there. Rang to rebook now can’t do anything until Monday the following week. And if we want to book we have to pay up front now after there mistake. There website looks good but service isn’t.

Thank you for your review. I can see you gave us all of these details and when we checked our parts suppliers, they are showing parts but with no lead time. Upon investigating further it turns out these are not available. When the customer service team member would have looked, the parts initially indicate stock available so please accept our apologies for the confusion and any inconvenience this may have caused.

Booked an appointment easily, a lady called Jess came out (called before arrival so we knew what time) diagnosed the problem quickly. Ordered the part, took payment then came back a few days later when it was in to fit it, and all sorted. Great friendly service. Will definitely use again.

I have taken some time to fill in my results from this visit to be shure MY repair was going to last. When your engineer arrived he looked at the dishwasher and said it was at least 13 years old and that there was a proplem that was impossible to fix. I could not see the leak he said was the problem, I am 70+ and can not crawl on the floor easily. He said I needed a new machine and collected my cheque and left. After checking the price of new machines I thought I better have a better look at the problem. Checked the wiring as best I could and checked the screws connecting the case to filter housing. switched back on and has worked perfectly ever since. Worst £93 I have ever spent. Could not recommend this service to anyone.

The engineer who called was despite telling us our machine was beyond repair was excellent. He took us carefully through the reason for his decision backed up with photographic evidence of the lime scale damage to the drum. He also made sure the machine was fully drained prior to disposal thanks

Bad service I made a genuine mistake of the timer on the oven so it wasn’t faulty I was charged £95 for a 3 second visit He even urinated in the bush on the cul da sac I live I shall not be ever using

Hello, Thank you for your review. This gives us the opportunity to continually improve. Firstly, I am glad the oven is now working again. Due to the fault reported, our office staff were unable to diagnose the cause of this before the visit, so we had to send an engineer to look into this. The fault reported could be caused by many things. We charge a one-off fixed fee which covers the engineers time at the property to diagnose and repair the fault reported. In most cases the engineer will be at the property for anywhere between 30 mins and 2 hours. In some cases however, if the fault is simply repaired or due to user error the engineer will be there for less time. While we completely understand that user error is a common issue, regardless of the fault with the appliance, our engineer still attended and rectified the issue leaving you with a working appliance again. With regards to your comment regarding the engineer urinating, I will pass this to our engineer manager to talk to the engineer about. Many thanks Glotech

From the moment of booking an appointment to the actual repair, the service was outstanding. Fantastic communication and very reasonable cost for a call out, which included the actual repair! Thank you very much, you’ve saved me at least £300, as I no longer need to purchase a new fridge/ freezer.

The chap arrived, was polite and was happy to get on with looking at the dishwasher. 15 minutes informs me it can be one of two things, a broken pressure sensor or broken washing machine. Fixed neither, so outside of his diagnostic ability of telling me it was something I knew, very poor service indeed.
