“Awful customer support and repair service that cannot be trusted, our repair lasted just a few weeks and when Glotech returned to check why the same symptom arrived, they then issued a bill for that visit although we have not agreed to another repair. Be warned, they do not display all reviews on their website! It's a very misleading company with terrible service.”

“I was lead to believe the company was a family run business from fakenham in Norfolk when I typed in repairs in Fakenham It is not and therefore couldn’t do the time slot I requested on the web site, 3 weeks ahead from the booking. The company needs to change the allotted slot times. I will not be using them.”

“We were given a time slot for cooker ignition repair - 8am-5pm but couldn't say morning or afternoon. We waited all day - not used the oven in case they arrived (can light manually) so up early and no hot meals today. About 4.40 got a call to say in York, not Leeds, and would be 1 hour 10 mins. making it around 6pm. Then they still had to do the job. I said it was too late, not as agreed and not to bother. There are other people who will do the work and be reliable. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WOULD NOT CONSIDER AGAIN.”

“Glotech does not deserve even 1 star! They charged us half of the cost of a new dishwasher and their repair lasted just a few weeks, the dishwasher showed the same symptoms and when they returned, they claimed something else needed changing and asked for another 200 GBP to carry out a different repair. AVOID THEM, NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!”

“Contacted these people as I thought they were based in Selby. They weren't. Waited in all day for my appointment (between 8am and 5pm), to be phoned at 4.35pm and informed the engineer was not coming. Asked for a immediate refund and was told that the accounts department had gone home for the day and it would be processed tomorrow. I'm not happy with this at all.”

“My combioven was too old to repair as springs are no longer available. I should have been warned of this. Also the time clock on my oven wasn’t working. I know it was not the specified equipment but would have appreciated the engineer seeing to that instead”

“First engineer looked at the cooker flashing E4, said need new board, pay £115, for 2 minutes, second engineer tried to do a factory reset to fix the induction hob, yet our model cooker doesn’t have a reset function! Told us to call Smeg direct! Amazing service if you want to waste your time and money”

“I would definitely recommend Glotech Repairs for their prompt and efficient service. Customer Servuce is quick to reply to emails. The engineer phones just before his arrival to say he is on his way which is helpful. Engineers are polite and knowledgeable.”

“My wife called them. Engineer visited, was here 5 minutes to tell us the to repair our washing machine would need a part costing £240.. (so about 340 with labour).. cheaper to buy a new machine so we decline. still charged us £95 for the call out. For about 5 mins of his time, that is ridiculous.”

“Zero star from 5. This company knew they can't fix my fridge but didn't tell me on phone but sent 'somebody' to tell me its unrepairable so i have to pay £100 for nothing.”

“Came out to fix a leaking Ice Maker in a Samsung fridge. Having replaced the part the ice maker was still dripping some weeks later so they came back out and said the freezer wasn’t cold enough and that the ice maker issue could be due to a leaking compressor. On getting a certified Samsung engineer out he said the issue wasn’t and wouldn’t be a compressor and that the freezer was fine. The leaking ice box was due to a clogged fan. Fixed it all and questioned most of what this engineer had said. Can’t recommend to use again…”

“Office staff lovely and as helpful as can be. Engineer in the ws13 area unhelpful and after waiting 4 days for him to come out then got cancelled until the next day; 2 days after that once the repair was finished he left without checking the washer dryer was in working order and then denied the fault was anything to do with him. Booked a revisit at the soonest date which was another 6 days away, not good enough for a professional company such as this wouldn’t recommend.”

“Booked my appointment on Sunday, with the technician due to arrive on Thursday. I received a confirmation text he was en-route on Thursday and then a call. He arrived and promptly and efficiently fixed my dishwasher and was courteous and just overall nice throughout. Having tried to contact other repair companies Glotech were the only one who actually sorted the appointment. Overall I'm really pleased with their services from booking, to fixing the issue.. thank you”

“I paid £90.00 for a call out and £70.00 for the part required for my Bosch oven. The office called me to arrange for an engineer visit so I took the day off work. The engineer arrived minus the part so my time and his timewere wasted. When I called the office to complain nobody in authority was available to take my call, apparently either on courses or in meetings. Im furious I wouldn't recommend this company. If I could give them 0 stars I would.”

“Although l had my appointment for my repair cancelled , when the engineer arrived on the second appointment , he was professional and did a good job . He was quick and efficient and respected my property . My Neff oven after having a new element is working perfectly now and the oven light which kept going off and on now stays on when cooking . I am very pleased with the outcome and would call them out for any future breakdowns .”
