They are more keen to restrict liability than have you as a customer. I had the feeling I was dealing with a shark. Very fast to limit liability.

Dear Dr. Potter, we can see you purchased a policy on the 5th of August 2024, as a legal document has to be issued based on the information supplied by the insured at the time of purchase and within the terms, conditions, and any exclusions of cover.

GLOBELINK is not an insurance company you can rely on. They are marketing insurance products from Collinsons insurance which seems to operate with the objective of to avoid paying the claim. I am still waiting for the resolution of a claim and I am now being ignored. Firstly they tried to deny the claim as I was travelling in New Zealand and they said that was excluded from my policy. It was not excluded as I had a worldwide policy. They acknowledged that error and have now have invented a food exclusion which they have not elaborated on. GLOBELINK are nowhere to be seen on this and direct me to Collinsons. They are happy to receive the premium but are nowhere to be seen when it comes to the important part of the insurance policy - delivery and support when things go wrong. The policy is not worth the paper it is written on as they have not based their intention to reject my claim on their policy that they sold me. I cannot state this strongly enough. Do not be fooled into thinking this policy or GLOBELINK will be there to support you when things go wrong.

Disappointing travel insurance when comes to making a claim, they ask for WAY more than any other company I've previously had, and even ask for more than what they state in their initial comms. Also their policy is pretty average considering they don't really cover cancelled flights. I am out of pocket 100s. In hindsight the money spent on the travel insurance policy would have been better spent booking new flights because they refuse to cover it (even though the guy on the phone said it should be covered)

Please note that Globelink uses the services of the claims handlers appointed by the insurer of your policy, Globelink and the insurer of your policy are committed to treating customers fairly and that you followed your policy wording for details of the claims complaints procedure which includes an independent arbitrator should you not agree with the insurers final decision.

Terrible Am still waiting for reimbursement for a claim from December! 3 months now !! No return telephone calls ,email response around two weeks and request for the same receipts over and over!! Still no resolution!

Dear Mr. Grist, We can see your comments regarding a delay via the Collinson Claims team in settle of your claim and this is not the delay we would expect from our appointed claims handlers, please provide us with the claim number and details via a direct email to our administration office globelink@globelink.eu so that we can urgently escalate this back to them for an update to both you and us, of the status of this claim and what has happened to delay a settlement.

Do not use Globelink, as you do end up with medical debts unpaid and bad credit ratings. Made a claim because of back pain, but some medical expenses were not paid by Globelink as agreed (I have seen the communications where they agreed to pay the medical provider). Paid for the MRI myself, which they reimbursed me for, and then accepted the claim. The steroid injection was meant to be paid directly to the provider. Globelink agreed to pay the provider. Provider invoiced Globelink, then 15 months later Globelink said the invoice wont be paid because the limits have been reached. There is no way they have reached 10M in payments for medical.....probably not even 10K in total. Have been trying to get an answer from them. No success in even getting a reply. Do not use Globelink, as you do end up with debts unpaid and bad credit ratings.

They are ok when you buy it. When you have to get in touch, is again. been trying to extend policy for last week. They are now removing all support for CoronaVirus, while I am stuck in a foreign country not able to go back. If you think you want a trust worthy company, I would stay clear. Again, easy to buy but not at all useful or helpful when needed to claim or even extend. Been a customer for 4 yrs, and still. Really slow customer service, nothing can be done on the phone. Phone lines close 1hr or more before official closing time.

You did not answer to my urgent request of information to decide which policy to buy as renewal. I had to decide fearing being left with no policy at all. I repeated my request but still no answer has arrived.

Callcenter wasnt very understanding about my situation. Complete lack of empathy. Callcenter was denying that it was unsafe to visit countries.

Basically a scam. The policy wording makes it so that they don't really cover almost anything (like flight cancellation). Other insurances do a much better job at being honest with their customers and at covering them, which is why we buy insurances in the first place. Treat this company like you would treat a scam.

Well I have to say it’s uselles... I am saying that because I was recently in hospital really infected and in bad condition. I payed with my own money when you should pay directly while i am in hospital. And I provided with all the info I have but you will still not give me my mmoney nay back. I will definitely not recommend this company

Globelink use a 24-Hour Medical Assistance Team to call for help and assistance with medical treatment needed while travelling, for low cost medical claims such as local doctor’s treatment you may pay and reclaim the costs via the claims handlers online. Globelink got my age wrong in the certificate twice. The first time I thought I made a mistake and input the wrong date but then the second time it still put the age 26 rather 27 in the certificate. I need this document for a visa application and obviously can not go with the wrong details. I will not be using this service again and ideally would like a refund for two incorrect certificates.

Thanks for the feedback. Your Insurance Certificate will state your Age as at the date of Issue. So your age as it is today. It looks like the age on your Certificate is correct given the date of birth you provided. If you prefer, we can provide a full refund on one or both Certificates within 14 days of purchase (provided you haven’t travelled yet). All I wanted was a QUOTE for travel insurance for myself and my partner who had a pre-existing medical condition. But you wouldn't allow me to get just a simple quote because you had to get him to talk on the phone even though I know all of the details of his condition. He works long days and is unable to be on the phone at work. Ridiculous.

Due to the recent changes in the use of personal data and data protection the medical screening team will need to speak to person the medical screening is for to confirm authorisation so that the caller can answer the medical questions on their behalf or go through the screening directly with the customer personally.

I made a claim 3 month ago , then Globlink ask me additional documents, i sended them month ago ..... themn i write 2 emails ...no answers :((( ... of course - no payment !!!! Just ignore me !!!

Your claims handler, Rightpath is trying everything possible to deny a valid claim of ours. Their claims reference is Z069390. We paid the premium to you for this insurance, so either intervene with your claims handler and resolve this matter, OR, we will institute proceedings against yourselves in 14 days time (ie on 3rd May 2017) for selling fraudulent insurance policies!

Under the strict rules set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) we are not able to handle or influence claims, as these are handled directly by the Claim Handlers, appointed by the Underwriters on our behalf, however, we wish to assist as far as we are able and have requested that Rightpath review your claim as swiftly as possible.

The lady who answered the phone when I called seeking advice regarding buying a policy could not have been more rude and unprofessional. She seemed to want to be somewhere else, gave me completely the wrong information and dismissed me as if I was irrelevant. Clearly she is in the wrong job and should look elsewhere. I ended up being transferred to the underwriter who could not have been more helpful and professional. He took time to explain things, clarified that the lady who answered the phone was completely wrong, apologised for how I had been treated by her and made me realise that if I had believed her then I would have been in a very difficult situation. The 1* is because the underwriter does not work for Globelink.
