“The islay cask is an amazing dram. Drank a few at the Bon accord Glasgow. Ended up buying three bottles. The colour is amber, has an oily feel, right amount of peaty aroma. Taste is wonderful. Beautifuly peated, sweetness, oak and a very pleasing taste overall. Medium to long finish. Fabulous addition to the range of whiskies from this distillery. It’s like a step up from lagavulin 16 in my opinion. Brilliant.”
