“I really liked my stamp, the only complaint I have it's that apparently it's very difficult to get the ink to every bit and it's always incomplete but it's not the end of the world.”

“It looks great, but i can only get it to stamp perfectly one in three times. It's either a bit blobby or not evenly spread when it stamps (using the recommended ink pad) . I put this largely down to my technique - and perhaps this will improve with practice but for now my hit rate isn't as good as I hoped. However it does look beautiful when on properly. Thanks”

“The stamps [x3] were excellent, but very disapointed in the ink box we ordered with them, it was way too small for the stamps! If we had known this we would not of ordered it and ordered seperately a much bigger one, which we have had to do! Very missleading especially as it came with the certain sized stamp and the cost of it!!!”

We recommend Versafine ink pads due to their superior quality, which is reflected in the positive feedback we usually receive. However, we do offer larger ink pads for customers who need them. “My stamp was not a totally accurate version of the image I sent it, but it was pretty close. To be fair, the details were rather small and overall, I'm happy with my purchase as the quality of the stamp was very good.”

While it might seem unnecessary since you are already satisfied, I wanted to mention that the stamp is engraved to be an exact replica of your image, accurate to about 0.01 mm. Your provided image was excellent, so I'm confident you can achieve a perfect impression. I noticed that you didn't purchase an ink pad from us, so I can't be certain about your current setup. However, I recommend using a Versafine pad, as it should allow you to get an impression that perfectly matches your original image. I hope this is helpful! Many thanks, Henry

“The Stamp is of excellent quality and has excellent clarity. The only thing that I am disappointed in and it would have been helpful if this was mentioned in the description is the following: I have jewellery cards that I needed to stamp which have a very slight sheen to them and the ink refuses to dry on them which means I can not either use the stamp or the cards which I have a lot of. None of the above would stop me from ordering another one but, I would only expect it to work on matt surfaces in the future.”

Hi Alison, Thank you for the kind words! Just to say you might have better luck with the stazon ink pad which we also stock. It's got ink in it designed for tricky surfaces like plastic and glass so should be able to handle cards with a slight sheen as well. Hope that helps! Many thanks, Henry

“Stamp really surpassed my expectations, I love it, it's perfect ♡ I will say the smaller ink pots are amazing, the logo comes out perfectly, but please don't waste money on the large black ink. I only got it because it was the only ink available that was bigger than my stamp, so I thought as a beginner it would be easier to practice with, but it's terrible. I've tried it on paper, cardboard, fabric, and nothing comes out clearly. Just opt for the smaller inks by the better brands and save yourself the money, because it's useless. Everything else was great though, and the stamps themselves deserve more that five stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆”

“Service was excellent & the stamp is accurate & stamps well. The reason I didn't give a 5 was that the handle was quite a bit bigger that the stamp which makes it hard to see exactly where you are stamping & gives the potential for catching the edge with ink.”

Hi Christine,   Thanks for the review and pleased to hear you are (mostly) happy with it!   We manufacture our handles ourselves which allows us to cut a lot closer to the custom designs than most. You are right that there should only be a very small amount of space around the design (less than a cm on any size and usually no more than 5mm). “The first time I ordered a stamp kit, stamps unevenly though maybe its to do with the handle's design, rubber's hardness or ink. Nonetheless, serves its purpose. Excellent service otherwise, the parcel arrived within a very short time after placing the order.”

Hi Daniela, Thanks for the review! The stamp shouldn't stamp unevenly. The way they are manufactured should ensure a totally flat impression. If you want to drop us an email at us@getstamped.co.uk we might be able to troubleshoot with you and help you get the perfect impression. In any case, it's usually an issue with the surface if it seems to not be making contact in any way. You can always check the stamp itself by stamping on a piece of paper on a completely flat and sturdy surface. If it works there then you know the stamp itself is alright. Hope that helps!
