It has been 10 months now since my hair transplant and I am very pleased. I have seen great progress so far and I am excited to see the final result. Kaan has always been a great professional by always answering all my questions and giving support.

After reading reviews on different sites for months and goin for a consultation in the U.K.,With a different company who wanted £7000 for 1500 follicles I decided to look into going to turkey for the procedure. Come across gethair and done some research into them and after speaking with Kaan who was very helpful all the way through and also the price being a quarter of what I was quoted and for more than doubled the follicles I can only say this is the best decision I have ever made a year on I have a full head of hair. I would definitely recommend get hair to anyone considering it

Well it has been a full year since I had the Hair Transplant with GetHair. Did it work? Drum-roll please? If you want to see my initial review from a year ago, scroll down under NR from December '15. I am very pleased to say it has and I have much more improved hairline compared to my receding hairline before the operation. I found the whole experience with GetHair great, from the moment I met Kaan in the London Office, to the operation itself and post op support. Now you are wondering how long it takes for results? Patience is the key as some days you will not progress as others. But at the end of the 12 month period, I am confident like me you will have much improved hairline then before. The crown area does take a bit more time for progress but that will come too. We are all here for the same thing. Makes no bones about it, an improved hairline makes you more confident and happy. Now I don't mind my picture taken whereas before I was more reluctant. GetHair are very professional, have experience in doing this delicate procedure and most of important of all, you get the result you want. They offer great value for money compared to the expensive UK Hair clinics. I found Istanbul very safe and accommodating and would not hesitate in returning there for business or pleasure. I would recommend GetHair highly as I have seen the results with my own eyes and others have commented to me how well it is gone. Go for it as you are reading this as you want an improved hair line. With GetHair you will get that. Don't delay, the quicker you do it and the quicker you will get results. NR, London.

After 3 years of research i eventually decided to go ahead with a FUE procedure with Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu. I did the necessary checks by ensuring the Doctor was registered with the ISHRS as a qualified surgeon and carefully analysed his work by looking at before and after videos and photos from GetHair youtube page and Gethair website. I suggest you all do the same research regardless of where you decide to go. Details of procedure/process: The first step involved arranging an appointment with Mr Kaan in his London office, it's vital you speak to Mr Kaan as he gives you further information on the process and is able to answer any questions you have. Mr Kaan will submit your photos to the Doctor who will reply with a detailed 'individualised' report on the expectations of the FUE surgery for you. Once you are happy with the report it is now up to you to book a day for the surgery and prepare for travel. The surgery is exactly as shown in the Youtube clips on GetHair, i advise you to watch the clips, it took about 8 hours for the surgery to complete and i was back home in the UK the next day. My experience: I followed all the advise i was given and stayed at home for the first 2 weeks, its been 4 months since my FUE surgery and the results are phenomenal, better than i ever expected. What's more encouraging is that i'm still expecting more density in the next 8 months. I've attached a photo of my hairline pre-surgery (a week before surgery) and post-surgery (4 months post-surgery). I was someone who spent days and nights reading reviews and searching for the right surgeon, i was undecided between Turkey and the UK but i can assure you that GetHair will exceed your expectations and i am glad i made the right decision. Also on a sidenote, there is no evidence to suggest that the overpriced FUE surgeries in the UK are in anyway better, in fact Dr Tayfun has been qualified longer than these UK surgeries have been open; vital experience plays a massive part in the complexities FUE surgery. Although GetHair is more expensive than most places in Turkey, the professionalism, the physical London office, the Qualified surgeon, the aftercare advice makes it miles ahead of the rest. At the end of the day it is your decision, take time to think about it, speak to Mr Kaan if you want to know more about the process or have any burning questions and regardless of the decision you make, i wish you the best of luck and i hope my review has given you more insight into FUE surgery with GetHair.

Just back in uk after receiving 3800 grafts in cyprus Honestly i must say i was a bit sceptical about going abroad to get this done. But the full gethair team were superb from start to finish. Picked up from airport in very comfy merc benz, taken to very nice 4 star hotel, hospital is imaculate, operation went great, small 5min of pain geting jags, but well worth it. Delighted with results so far, now the waiting game begins to find out results. Dont get this done in uk, go abroad, the cost is a fraction. And i think the service i reveived is 2nd to none

It has now been 6 months since the procedure, I had 3500 grafts mainly on my front area with a small patch on the crown. I have to say I could not be happier with the results. The growth and thickness had blown my mind. I have the hairline I've lacked for the last 7 years again. I would recommend GetHair to everyone it is worth every penny. It is the best thing I gave ever done. Don't bother wasting money on overpriced clinics I'm the UK of US, Turkey is at the forefront of these procedures and Dr T is one of the best out there .

I have so far had an excellent experience. After I paid my deposit I had little to no contact with anybody at the clinic until the day before surgery when I was flying to Istanbul. I figured it was best that I don't think about it. I had read a lot of reviews but the experience was better than I had expected. Like everybdy else will tell you, the only painful part is when they give you the local anaesthetic (which is about 30-25 tiny injections in your head). This is a very annoying ten minutes that you will get through. Everything after that was smooth. I watched a movie, played on my phone etc. while they extracted my donor hairs. Afterwards the doctor came in and opened up holes where the hairs were going to be replanted. I did not look up once so I have no idea what all of this looked like. Then we took a break for lunch. I had a burger and went to the bathroom. I felt absolutely fine. I think I took to the anaesthesia very well as I had no headache or grogginess. Afterwards I went back in for the implantation. Took another 3 hours or so and I watched the Hangover (I recommend you bring your own DVD's, their selection is limited). Finally I was done, they wrapped up my head and sent me to the hotel. That night I felt 100% normal. I had dinner at the hotel and then took a stroll around the neighbourhood. I didn't feel comfortable doing anything so I put myself to sleep at 9. I slept well. I used (and am still using) an airplane pillow below my neck to keep my head elevated. It's actually quite comfortable. They had given me a cover for my pillow as you are supposed to bleed the first night or two. I was lucky to not. So my cover was clean in the morning. I was also told that my face would swell up. It did not at all. The lack of bleeding, pain, or swelling is the real reason that I would gladly refer GetHair to any of my friends, because I had a fantastically easy process with almost no after effects. I read reviews and have friends who had previously done this, who had much less comfortable recovery periods. The next morning I checked out of the hotel and was taken to the hospital. They washed my head and removed my headband. The nurse doing this wasn't that gentle and hit my head slightly when putting it on me which I didn't appreciate. I flew out shortly after and even had a business meeting that night. I have been out and living my life normally since. Today is day 10 and I am starting to look normal (like a guy with a buzz cut) and feel comfortable. Interestingly, whatever pain I felt in my donor area has only started from day 7. My donor area has been itchy and a little sore and I suspect it is because the scabs are starting to dry and fall off. I am now using over the counter pain killers and an anti hestimine to manage this but this is not painful enough to take seriously. It's more annoying than anything. I have been using the conditioner and shampoo for a few days now. Following the conditioner, a lot of white spots have been falling of my recipient area. Some of these have hairs attached, most do not. I can't tell if these are follicles falling off or just the scabs. I hope it's the scabs because I am losing hundreds of them and it only started after day 7. Kaan is very friendly as is the patient coordinator assigned to me who spoke English. I won't really know if this operation has been successful for at least 6 months so I'm not in a position to comment, but at this moment in time, I am a very satisifed customer. I am very happy that I also opted for the Istanbul option because I don't believe I would have done better by paying more and doing it in London. In retrospect there were some things I didn't love but they are not crucial considering what could have gone wrong. - My pick up didn't come get me from the airport so I took a cab. - After the surgery and till today, I have whatsapped the patient coordinator with some questions and gotten no responses. - Nobody (except for Kaan and the coordinator) speaks English. So the whole 8 hour surgery, you have no communication with the people working on you. - I would have liked to have been informed where they were going to plant the hairs in more detail. I am actually extremely pleased with how they dealt with my front hairline but there'a part of my crown which they did not touch which I would have liked them to and assumed they would have. It is my fault for not specifying but it didn't occur to me at the time. - I sent them pictures of the white spots falling off my recipient area and am still waiting to hear if these are follicles or scabs. On a final note, the pros hear by far outweigh the cons. If I were to do it again I would use them, and I would definitely recommend a friend. The process was not a big deal and I genuinely think they were skilled which is why I did not bruise, bleed or swell. Results are to be confirmed. I'll write a follow up review in a few months time. Good luck

6 months after the surgery. I only considered a transplant after a colleague mentioned that the procedure was not so expensive in Turkey, and he was thinking about it. I had always thought they were only for the very wealthy. I had lost a lot of hair from my crown and hairline, but was not suffering any crisis of confidence...I just wished it looked like it had when I was younger. i did some research online and contacted Kaan. He was extremely helpful and answered all my queries very quickly. I found out it would cost £3000 and take 2 days. I booked, paid the deposit and organised my flights to Istanbul. I was met late at night at the airport and driven to a very nice hotel, where I would stay 3 nights. I was collected after breakfast the next morning and driven to a very clean and modern hospital. I paid the remainder of the bill and met the staff. After having my head shaved, and a talk with Dr Tayfun, the procedure started. The anaesthetic injections were not pleasant, but were over quickly, and the extraction of donor hair was uncomfortable rather than painful. The doctor then made the incisions for the donor hair, and that was implanted on my hairline by 2 nurses....these procedures were very comfortable. I had lunch and was driven back to the hotel having been given various pills to take. The following day was similar although this time my crown received the treatment. On the third morning, my head was washed and I was told how to treat my hair over the next 2 weeks. Back to the airport and home. I followed the instructions, the scabs came off, and probably half of the implants fell out, as I was told they would. From day 3 to day 8 my face was very swollen, eyes quite closed and skin quite yellow. This was very worrying but it passed. The donor area was itchy for 2 months, and the recipient crown was numb for about the same length of time. 6 months on, the results are amazing. My hairline is full and thick and the same goes for my crown. There should also be more to come over the next few months. It is hard to believe that the pre-surgery photos and the now photos are the same person. I am so glad that I did this before it was too late and I had lost too much hair. I would absolutely recommend Gethair to everybody who doesn't like their losing their hair.

So, 5 months on and I took a trip to the barbers, the reason being I was constantly being told, "You need a haircut!" it's been around 17 years since I last heard that. Anyway, I went to my usual barber who was used to just 'trimming the back and sides' in the past so that it blends in with the thin balding top..how I hated that! So I got to the barbers and sat in the chair, I looked in the mirror and saw a bushy unkempt mane staring at me..Yes unbelievably this was my hair. My barber's first words were "What the....??!!" He just kept staring at my mane..then "Wow" he remarked. I then grinned like a Cheshire cat and asked him to cut and style my hair. Yes that's right, I could actually tell my barber how I wanted my hair cut and styled! I sat in the chair grinning as he began to work his magic. Snipping away intricately as I watched my thick mane falling and could now see an amazing transformation unfold. To think just 6 months ago, I was a sad bald mess so to speak haha. 30 minutes into the barber's chair, I was done. I was complete, I was a new man, I am a new man. I found it difficult to recognise myself, the feeling was unbelievable. Never in a million years did I think this could happen and that's no exaggeration. I ran out of the barbers smiling and couldn't help looking at my reflection in every shop window. I dashed home, showered and changed then went out to a wedding party. The compliments kept coming, I was overwhelmed. My wife said, "I've fallen in love with you again!". I am a new man. In summary, all I need to say is.. 'Get Hair.'

It's now been 2 weeks to the day since I returned from Cyprus after receiving FUE treatment with GetHair and I felt ready to now offer a review of their service and treatment. I have suffered from huge confidence issues since I began losing my hair in my early 20s which ultimately led to me wearing a hat everytime I set foot out of the house. I was also suffering from social anxiety in situations where hats were not appropriate, so much so that I would make excuses to avoid these events.... formal gatherings, weddings etc. Having fully researched FUE treatment in the UK and visited many clinics, the procedure was exactly what I wanted and required but the cost implications of having the surgery in UK were huge; £8,000 - £10,000 and beyond. After continuing with my research I found GetHair based in North London but who's surgeon, Dr Tayfun, operates out of Istanbul and Cyprus and for a fraction of the price. My wife and I arranged a meeting with Kaan at their Islington office and from the moment we met him he put my/our concerns at ease, listened, understood and discussed in great detail the options available to me. He then took photographs and sent them to Dr Tayfun who responded the next day with a full prognosis; the amount of grafts required (in my case 3500), the timescale and costs. For the full treatment, hotel and transfers, the procedure cost £2800. The only cost associated outside of this were the flights. We spent a short while longer considering our options and decided to book the procedure in Cyprus. My flight was on the Wednesday and on my arrival in Cyprus I was met at the airport and transferred to a very clean and comfortable hotel where I spent the evening resting and preparing for the next day. On Thursday morning I was again collected and driven to the hospital about 40 minutes away - a very impressive building, very modern and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I met Dr Tayfun who proceeded to prepare me for the procedure, answered my questions and began to mark out my new hairline. I had a quick bite to eat and we began... The only part of the treatment which was a little painful were the injections to numb the scalp area - this wasn't pleasant but neither did they promise otherwise, the nurses were honest about this and it was over in no time. The follicle extraction from the rear of my head lasted a few hours during which time we watched TV and chatted amongst ourselves and with the extremely professional translator they had supplied for me for the rare moments she was needed, otherwise there were no issues at all with the language barrier. Dr Tayfun then proceeded to create the channels across the top of my scalp where the new hair would be placed. After his was completed I was taken to the doctor's office where we had lunch and rested before the final part of the procedure. I had two nurses working to place the grafts into my head, a long and delicate procedure where they encourage you to try and sleep, read, or watch the television. There is a little less talking at this point due to the intricate process but I did manage to sleep which helped pass the time. The overall procedure took just under 10 hours and once they were finished we discussed the medication and care requirements and I was then taken back to the hotel to rest. It was quite an uncomfortable nights sleep - not because of any pain, this was minimal, if any - but because I was so conscious of keeping my head away from the pillow while sleeping upright to help with the swelling. The next day, Friday, I checked out of the hotel and was driven back to the hospital for the aftercare appointment where the nurses who had worked with me the previous day proceeded to give my head a wash and talked me through my care program for the next 2 weeks; when to take medication, to avoid direct sunlight, how to sleep etc. Later that day I returned home and began my recovery process, making sure to follow the instructions meticulously. Over the past two weeks the scabs have disappeared, the swelling has gone and i'm now left with the solid hairline I have coveted for so many years. I have noticed some hair falling out but this is completely normal and will return over the next few months as the hair thickens and follicles oxygenate. My experience with GetHair, with Kaan, With Dr Tayfun and his nurses and with undertaking my treatment in Cyprus in general, has been nothing short of fantastic. I understand there are always variables associated with this procedure and there is still a way to go before I see the true results but in summary the time, care and consideration I have received from GetHair has given me the best opportunity yet to regain my confidence and hopefully throw away those damn hats!!

I found Gethair online and after a quick response from Kaan with my online consultation I knew I wanted to go ahead with the procedure. There was no pressure which made me feel comfortable. After researching fue transplants over many months I knew what I was offered was a great deal compared to U.K prices. It was a matter of 3 or 4 weeks after my first contact with Kaan I was ready to set of to Istanbul. As soon as I was picked up at the airport I was made to feel very welcomed. I spoke to Cigdem on the phone before I was even in the car and we spoke about what was going to happen the following day. I was dropped off at a lovely hotel which was very comfortable, spacious and made me feel very relaxed. After a good nights sleep I was up for a buffet breakfast which was fantastic, then picked up again for the short journey to the hospital (which was 5 mins away in the car) I then a final consultation with Dr T and we were ready to go. The procedure was completed in around 5 or 6 hours. The time passed really quickly and I was made to feel at ease throughout by all the lovely Doctors and staff. After what seemed like a short time I was ready to go back to the hotel for dinner and to relax and take it easy. The next morning again I was picked up after breakfast back to the hospital to remove my bandages have my head washed and to receive my aftercare instructions from the lovely Cigdem. After saying my goodbyes I was then driven straight to the airport for my flight back to the U.K. I arrived in aIstanbul on the Tuesday evening around 11:30 pm and I was departing home on the Thursday at 10:30 am as this suited my timeframe. I cannot thank Dr T, Kaan, Cidgem, Simge and all of the other lovely staff enough that looked after me during this time I had in Istanbul. If I had the chance I would have spent a few more days in Istanbul which is a magical city. Don't be put off by going abroad as many are and save yourselves a fortune and be treated by true professionals that have years of experience.

Overall i had a good experience with gethair, i will start from the beginning. I have been thinking of a hair transplant for a while but always been unsure, especially with the cost in the UK. I spoke with Kaan other a number of months getting information etc, he is a great guy and always willing to help. After a while i booked my flights and went for it.I had a difficulty at the airport as they said i needed a visa. this is the only information i didn't get but apparently they do not usually do this. I was picked up at the airport and dropped at the hotel, the hotel is fantastic, i could not ask for more to be honest. I did speak with a guy that was having a hair transplant through a different company, he paid a lot less than me but stayed in the clinic for two days, i could not think of anything worse. After the op you just want relax in your own space. I was picked up on the morning of the op and taken to the clinic, the place is immaculate and the nurses are all very friendly. I was extremely nervous as i hate anything to do with hospitals etc. The Dr drew on my hairline and then the nurses took me into the op room, I did expect a bit more contact with the Dr than i received as the nurses seemed to do a lot of the work but they all seem to know exactly what they are doing. The injections do sting a little, and some bits do hurt a touch but just let them know and you will get more local anaesthetic. The procedure seemed to fly and i was back at the hotel around 4pm. The next day i had the wash and flew home. I am currently 9 days post op, so obviously have no idea how it will turn out but i am confident. I would definitely recommend gethair to anybody thinking about a transplant. Like i said earlier i was very nervous about going to Turkey but now i am 100% glad i did.

It's been just over a week since I've had my operation, so thought I'd post up a review of the process. It was in part the internet reviews that helped me make my decision to proceed with Gethair, so thought I'd summarise my own experience. I'm in my late 20s, have been losing hair since my early 20s, and have used minoxidil, which has helped reduce the rate of loss dramatically. However, the hairloss around the crown was becoming significant, and so I decided to look into hair transplant surgery. I found Gethair online, did some research, and sent off a set of emails enquiring about the potential for surgery. The responses I received were quick, informative and professional and I ultimately decided to book an operation. My experience overall was highly positive - from the comfortable and clean hotel, to the hospital environment (modern and professional), to the surgery itself (surprisingly comfortable and painless). The most challenging part is the travel the day after the surgery - but in reality it was only a few hours and is quite bearable. Everything from their end I couldn't have faulted - I now look forward to the results (so far everything is healing quickly and nicely). For those uncertain about proceeding with Gethair (or hair transplant surgery in Turkey in general), it seems to be a well established and experienced industry, and they're reliant on providing a good service to keep their customers coming. Ultimately, it was this logic that swayed me, and my personal experience so far has only confirmed this view.

Only 10 weeks on since I had the fue procedure in March, you may have read my previous review. So, I am only 10% into the recovery period and I am seeing amazingly staggering results. In fact, I cannot quite believe what I am seeing on a daily basis every time I look in the mirror! I will ensure you all see a before and after picture early next year when the recovery period of 12 months is over. If anyone out there is hesitating about getting the FUE procedure done, believe me when I say that this is the best thing I have ever done. Put your trust in Gethair and go do it..

From the moment I was picked up at the Airport and left to my hotel I was confident that I would be very well cared for and looked after. On the morning of the operation the staff at the clinic were friendly and available to ask any further questions I had. Dr T prepared my scalp for the transplant and then the nurses diligently set to work on harvesting my hairs. Dr T later reviewed the operation and then opened the new channels into which my new hairs would be transplanted. Then the nurses completed the operation by inserting the previously harvested hair follicles into the new channels. At all times the nurses and other support staff were considerate and helpful and also reassuring. My patient liaison, was who spoke great English, explained everything before, during and after the operation. Any questions were answered immediately. The aftercare procedures were explained in detail. I could not recommend GetHair more highly for their professionalism and general care and consideration.

I would like to first and foremost thank everyone from get hair for their professional support and help. Anyone out there concerned or worried about hair loss , I would recommend get hair, their service from start to finish has been brilliant, so far so good. I am satisfied with the outcome of the surgery so far. I am still at very early stages, and look forward too see more results in the next coming months. For anyone out there that is thinking twice about a hair transplant with get hair because it is in Istanbul, I can reassure you that there is nothing to worry about. All the testimonials you see on YouTube on how it looks and the service received is actually what you get. I was worried as well first but I can vouch that there is nothing to worry about. If you still are in doubt at least go to the consultation in London and find out more. Once again thank you Kaan for your help and support and everyone else in Turkey.
