I have been suffering from hair loss for the last ten years however it has become worst in the last three years and it starts to affect my self-esteem as I look older than my actual age. About two and half years ago I decided to do something about it and went to hair clinics that use medication only to stop the hair loos. Even though the results that I have seen from previous cases were good, taking a medication for twelve month doesn’t seems to look easy for me let alone the potential side effects. I kept on searching for alternative solutions and went on to have a consultation with half a dozen clinics in London. Unfortunately because of the hair loss stage I was at the cost was extremely expensive that I couldn’t afford it. I heard about success stories of people having hair procedure and I did my research about affordable clinics both in Europe and Asia. However to go abroad was not such an easy decision therefore I had to be sure about the clinic reputation so Had a correspondence with many clinics and for some reason the clinics in turkey stand out for me and kept on making further research from online forums and other sources. Among those I had assessment with Get hair was one of them that impress me from day one by producing detailed assessment report on my case. Based on the report I came up with questions which have been answered promptly. I finally decided to go with Get hair and made a booking. On my arrival to Istanbul a gentleman was waiting for me with a name sign. He was very friendly and even though I was told the entire process in advance I have been briefed once again by a coordinator over the phone. The Hotel very clean and most of the staffs speak good English. I Have read an online review about the hotel both good and bad stuffs but fortunately all the service I have received was very good. I have also visited restaurants few blocks down the road that serves tasty dishes for a good price. On day of the surgery I met the surgeon and his team and went through an assessment had my hair shaved and washed before the procedure. The procedure was painless except the first few minute of local anaesthetic injection. English speaker staff was there to explain each phase of procedure. . The way the staff conducted the whole procedure was extremely professional and it gave me a confidence in achieving a great result. Day after the surgery I had my hair washed and given products and set of instruction how I should wash my hair for couple of weeks. The advice that I have received was vital in protecting the transplanted graft from being dislodge. It is early to talk in terms of result but based on my research I made and the way the whole assessment and procedure was done I am sure to achieve a good result. My advice for anyone who is thinking of having similar procedure is to make an extensive research. Personally I am happy to recommend this clinic for anyone thinking of hair transplant. I Hope to come back after a year to share the outcome of the procedure.

After spending the best part of 8 months researching the FUE procedure and communicating with many different companies in Turkey, Gethair stood out by miles. I contacted Kaan via email and submitted some photographs of my hair. I received a prompt reply and was invited in to the London office back in August 2015. I asked many questions (some of which were what I thought to be silly) but Kaan was at hand to answer any queries I had. I got a good vibe from the office, professional, polite and knowledgeable. I then went away and continued my research, several companies got back to me offering me cheap prices and I was tempted. What held me back was the fact that I was communicating by email and could have been talking to anyone, I wasn't going to be fooled or convinced by a well designed website. Anyway, months of thinking and GetHair were always on the forefront of my mind. My wife was very supportive which helped massively, I received an email from Kaan in October giving me the opportunity to meet the surgeon Dr Tayfun Ogüzoglü who was visiting London and so I met him on a Saturday afternoon. Again, the professionalism, great customer care and knowledge was evident. I went away to do yet some more thinking. The day had come, I made the decision.. "I am going to do this!" I sent an email to Kaan and he kindly put the wheels in motion. I flew out on the Tuesday 8th March 2016, Turkish Airlines flew me to Istanbul in 3 hours. Great airline, great food, great service. I arrived at 6pm and was out in 15 minutes, met by Kaan and the driver who were waiting to pick me up . It finally hit home that I was going to have the FUE procedure done. I was driven to my hotel, the room was fantastic, spacious, lovely shower and no complaints at all. I had a good sleep and spent the following day sightseeing, a fabulous experience in a beautiful city. The next day, I was picked up by the kind driver and taken to the hospital which was only a few minutes away, the procedure was explained to me and naturally my nerves set in. However, I was reassured by the great staff and they initially gave me the local anaesthetic, several injections at the rear of my scalp which stung slightly but not painful. Throughout I felt reassured and the staff were amazing. My scalp was numbed so didn't feel much. We broke for lunch after grafts were removed from the donor area. The procedure then resumed in the afternoon and concluded without any issues. I was given some medication and was driven back to my hotel room. As the anaesthetic wore off some several hours later, it felt quite sore and painful although the painkillers worked very quickly and I slept like a baby. I woke up, had a great breakfast and felt absolutely fine. I was again picked up by the driver and taken to the hospital at around midday. The aftercare was brilliant, the bandage was removed and my hair was washed for the first time. The kind lady showed me how to wash my hair for the next week and went through all the medication, all written down for me so absolutely no issues. I then left the hospital and make my way to the airport for my flight back to London. I had an amazing time in Istanbul. Ok, I hear you asking, "How does your hair look?" I have not had a hairline like this since I was 20! I can already see the difference, the donor area is a little sore as it's only been 3 days since the procedure. I am delighted, the GetHair team are amazing, a big thank you to both Kaan's. Without hesitation I would say, put your trust in Gethair and go get it done, you will not regret it!

One year later… I had the operation on the 2nd February of 2015 and decided to wait for a full year before writing a review. I spent around a year investigating different providers and doctors previous to the operation. And I decided to go with GetHair based upon the public reviews and one or two reviews I got from past patients without GetHair’s knowledge. One thing I thought was missing from the reviews was 12 month post-op ones. I decided I would wait until 12 months after my op and then write a review based upon the results and the overall experience I had to help others. Dealing with GetHair..... I had done a few consultations with different clinics in Dublin, Ireland where I live and got the follow up calls which I found a little pushy at times. Through my investigations, I came across GetHair and was impressed with the sheer volume of recommendations on the web for them. If I am being honest, I was looking for some faults in the reviews thinking that GetHair may have hired people to write them. I read through quite a few of them over a period of weeks and decided they were genuine. I decided I had nothing to lose and contacted them. I contacted them over email and maintained the conversation through email only for the entirety (I still haven’t spoken to Kaan). This I found suited me. I could take my time, think about my questions and articulate them well and then send the email when it suited. When Kaan replied, I could absorb the answers and take time making my decision. I felt confident enough to quiz a few answers which I possibly wouldn’t if we were face to face. As I say, email really suited me and I recommend it to anyone as it was a very thorough way of communication for this. I investigated the doctor that was going to do the operation and to be honest, had more qualifications and experience than any other doctor I had come across. When they say, look for the certain qualifications and memberships Dr. Tayfun has them all, no exaggerations, check for yourself. I contacted a previous patient on my own accord, without Kaan or GetHair’s knowledge and the patient was 9 months post-op and delighted with the results. He was balder than I was and showed me some very good pics. I decided with this, the reviews on the web, the doctor’s reputation and the correspondence with Kaan GetHair were the company I was going to use to get my transplant done. The trip to Turkey... We settled on a date, paid the deposit and I booked my flights. I didn’t realise that Turkish Airlines flew from Dublin until Kaan mentioned it and the flights costs came in under €250, delighted. When I arrived in Istanbul, the driver was there waiting for me. A really non-judgemental nice guy that I had a lovely conversation with on the way to the hotel and he made me feel really welcome. After a good night’s sleep and a nice breakfast, the driver brought me to the clinic which was about a ten minute drive away. The Operation... At around 9am on the Monday morning, I met the nurses and had the consultation with Dr. Tayfun whereby he drew out my new hairline and marked a few bald spots that also needed to be covered. A nurse then shaved my head and I lay down on the operating chair which would be my resting spot for the next few hours. The first part of the operation involves numbing of the scalp through local anaesthetic injections. For me, each injection was painful. I didn’t remember reading about that anywhere so it is something you should be aware of. I basically grit my teeth and got through it and it was fine but certainly memorable. Within two to three hours all of the donor follicles had been removed and Dr. Tayfun had opened the new recipient channels. This lead up to lunch. A fine meal was provided and things resumed at 2pm. The next part was to implant the donor follicles in the channels. Two nurses performed this over the next three hours, two of which I was asleep for. After the operation... Upon completion of the operation, my English speaking patient coordinator gave me some drugs and explained when I should take them. This would have been better if the instructions had have been written down as I was post op and obviously not fully coherent. The usual painkillers I take at home for any ailments are taken as a pair. When I took the painkillers given to me as a pair, I then recalled how the coordinator had stressed not to take more than one and wait for four hours before the next. I rang here once I realised my mistake and she then rang the doctor. I was to stay away from alcohol and fizzy drinks for the next four hours, which I did. She checked back in with me a few times until I was in the clear. She was great, really nice, this was my mistake of course, but I advised her that if it was written down for me it might not have happened. Hopefully, she has done that since. On arrival home... The driver that picked me up from the airport and had driven me backwards and forwards to the hospital was very good to drop me to the airport even though I had a late flight booked, a great guy. The flight home was perfect. The hat that the clinic supplied did the job of covering my head. I had booked two weeks off work to give it a chance for some healing. I had some swelling and noticed the area was very understandably red. After a few days the swelling went down but the red remained. When the two weeks were up and I had to go back to work, the red was still quite prominent so I had to wear a hat. Luckily, being a software developer we can get away with baseball caps. I told most of the guys, I shaved my head and didn’t like the look so was wearing the hat. With my close workmates though, I told the whole story and showed them. They were amazed, supportive and non-judgemental. It’s all forgotten about at this stage now. 3 months later... Three months later I still had the red on the recipient area. After some investigation it seems that this is common for sensitive skins and is known as the sunburn affect. I sent a pic to Dr. Tayfun and he advised a certain cream which I got and started applying it. 6 months later... Six months later the red was still there although fading a bit. I went on holidays and tried to cover it with a real tan, which worked. So when I came back to work, I didn’t have the cap and there was also some new growth there. Nobody really passed much heed in work, my hair isn’t all that important in the context of other people’s lives. 9 months later... The sunburn red had mostly gone although it was probably a pinky color now. There was now good growth but it seemed to be thinner in places. I went a got a haircut to try even things out and that worked. Over the next few months I noticed the thinner patches starting to grow and get volume. 12 months later... At twelve months, I have good volume in my hair, a lot more than I have had in the past ten years. The thinner parts have filled out more but I would be still expecting some more growth there. I am aware that it can continue improving for another six months. Summary.. Would I recommend you to get the procedure done? Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt. Would I recommend you to deal with GetHair.co.uk? Without a doubt. All communication I did was over email and Kaan was just fantastic. What is a balanced expectation I would offer any potential patient? It is a roller-coaster. You have probably been thinking about it for years, I was. You read about everyone else’s great experiences and think well that’s them, I’m different and I usually end up with a different story. You worry about the reputation of the company, surgery and doctor. You’re not an expert on hair transplants, but you do your investigations. GetHair had more reputation than I could find for any other company out there. I would compare others to them. Do your research and settle your own mind. Do what you need to do. I did and as I said GetHair covered all the areas I was concerned about, even without their knowledge. Don’t expect plain sailing and a huge afro in two weeks, this will take a year. Expect it to take the year. I had to remind myself of this a couple of times through the year to keep the long term goal and expectation. You might find yourself, at times during the year thinking, it didn’t work, its red, there are still a few bald patches. When, in fact, it is settling in and growing at different rates, maybe not a speed you might like it to. A year afterwards, you will then be closer to the end result and you will be able to stand back and really see the results. Am I happy? Bloody right I am. How is the confidence? Remember when you were younger and had hair that you were obsessed with, just confident with it, took it for granted? This brings that feeling back but this time with an appreciation with it. I began losing my hair at 30, I am now 43 but feel 30. I used to look in the mirror and sigh. Now I look and I smile at what’s looking back. It’s about self-esteem and I have got a boost to mine that I hadn’t released had dropped. You will see the same message in other reviews here because it is true. Should you take the risk? It’s about minimising risk, with GetHair and Dr. Tayfun it is minimized as much as can be. It is then up to you to make the decision. Do it, you won’t regret it. You will more than likely write a review here and help others make the same decision. There is nothing in this for me, only a sense that I can help someone like me out there go for it because it is so worth it. Do it and enjoy the results, I am.

I was recommended Gethair from a work colleague, its something I had never really contemplated until he mentioned that he'd had one. It looked natural so thought his hair had always been that way. After seeing some photos of how his hair had looked before I asked about the company and started seriously looking in to it. I sent photos of my hair and from that moment the service and information I received was great. I was still a bit hesitant travelling to Turkey but as someone I knew had been there it was nice to be able to ask him questions, although Khan from Gethair answered most if not all. I flew to Turkey in December 15 and was picked up as arranged at the airport and taken to the hotel. The hotel was very nice and food was lovely. The day of the procedure I was picked up at 9AM and taken the 5 minute ride to the clinic. Once there I met the doctor and staff involved, I thought they may be others getting it done but from what I could see I was the only person . The attention I received was great, the procedure took about 6 hours. I was then taken back to the hotel for the evening. The next day I was taken back to the clinic to check everything was ok which it was. I was given all the information I needed for my after care and even messaged everyday to remind me. Its now about 3/4 months on and the new hair is getting thicker and thicker. I am delighted with the results and people I know have commented loads on how good its looking, and I have recommended Gethair on a few occasions to various people. If I ever need another in the future I wouldn't think of going anywhere else but Gethair. Great service and results

Since 2 years, suffered from the dramatic change of image due to male pattern baldness. Felt that I needed to do something about it to return to 'who I really am'. So after a lot of research about FUE, and various consultations with some companies, I decided to get my operation done with GetHair in Istanbul. Based on their reputation and also good results achieved by their patients, contacted them for a quote and consultation. Was Impressed with the level of professionalism during my correspondence before the operation day, had all questions and doubts answered, and even more Impressed when I got there In Istanbul. I have to confess that I was very nervous about going abroad to do my operation, but my fear went away immidietly. Efficient taxi, nice hotel in same street of the hospital, but also State of the art clinic, super clean, and Dr. Tayfun and his staff are just amazing people who made me feel comfortable and did the operation in a smooth and super professional way! Its been 3 weeks since my operation and I look forward to see the results in the coming months. There is absoulutley nothing to be afraid of, Its vitrually painless procedure, and also Istanbul, and the clinic itself exceeded my expectations! I did a great choice in choosing Gethair, not just for the price, but also for the quality as its top notch, and I am sure my experience with them will change my life! Recommend it to anyone who still is afraid of taking the step. Just do it and there will be no regrets!

I had a very positive experience with GetHair. When I decided I would need to do something about my thinning hair I started talking to Kaan, who was very professional, polite and always willing to answer all my questions regarding FUE. He was neither pushy or overly assertive. I booked my procedure without any hesitation. I also had known someone who used GetHair for their FUE and their feedback was also very good. From the moment you get picked up at the airport in Istanbul and get dropped off a few days after to go back to UK you feel confident everything would be done on time and how it should be. The hotel is nice (it's actually only 5 minutes away from the clinic), the drivers are very punctual and the facilities at the clinic are top-notch. The patient coordinator (Julia ) is a very nice person, always helpful and genuinely committed to making sure you get great results from the procedure. She is also very fluent in English, so no need to worry anything would get lost in translation. As I mentioned before, the facilities at the clinic are top-notch - on par with best private clinics in the UK and far better than any NHS hospital I have been to! The procedure itself take 6-7 hours with a break for lunch inbetween. You can relax and watch TV. During the first part of it I was actually asleep! The only moment you feel pain during the procedure is at the very start when you are given an anaesthetic injection into your head. It is bearable and only lasts less than a minute. It definitely helps that the staff at the clinic makes you feel relaxed by throwing a few jokes. I have now been into the healing process for just over a month and am confident of getting great results from my operation. I understand it is a big decision to go abroad for any kind of operation. However, with GetHair the risk is miniamal as these guys are very professional, punctual and are committed to filling your head with hair again :)

My experience after two weeks…. After speaking with three companies, I opted for Get Hair. I was a little hesitant about getting this done overseas, but after meeting Kaan I was put as ease – after the initial meeting the surgeon even provided a written report and recommendations before I even committed to moving forward. This was better than other providers based in the UK that were quoting 2.5 times the price. When I arrived in Turkey I was met by a driver from the hospital team. Very friendly, but he didn’t speak much English. The hotel I was taken to was very comfortable and only five minutes’ drive from the hospital. The team at the hospital were fantastic – I had a liaison person who spoke fluent English and really put me at ease. The facilities were great, like you would expect from a top private hospital. The operation lasted seven hours with a short break for lunch. It wasn’t really painful, but more uncomfortable, especially when the injections went in. I thought I may be able to listen to music or read a book to kill the time, but you’re regularly moving and lying in awkward positions. The following day, the driver collected me from the hotel and I had the bandages taken off. The team gave me really clear instructions and a pack to read, outlining when to take which tablet, when to use their shampoos etc. This answered all my questions immediately. I was very impressed. The only thing I didn’t really appreciate was having to fly back. You’re given a “strange” hat to wear, but you have to take this off when in doors and on the flight, which meant a few strange looks! Two weeks in, my new hair is showing through and I’m feeling better. During this time, it’s been quite uncomfortable at times (a few nights I struggled to sleep). Overall, I’ve pleased I went ahead and would strongly recommend to Get Hair. I think you get a better service (more luxury hospital and a team large team that really specialise in hair transplants), but at a fraction of UK price.

I had my Gethair operation 14 months ago and here is my review: After hearing some good feedback about Turkey and seeing the expensive surgeries in the states, I decided to look somewhere else besides the USA. I'm not a huge fan of long haul flights and get bored quickly on planes. But money was another issue so I decided to take it one step further. When I did my research, I looked into three important points; 1. Professionalism 2. Price 3. Aftercare Gethair's approach was very professional from the first email exchange. They kindly reminded me to send photos twice and were never aggressive or pushy. I exchanged emails with Kaan, who answered my questions majorly with statistics, which reassured me, I must say. Their price was way cheaper than here and the qualifications of their surgeon was satisfactory for me. I honestly didn't count on their aftercare promise, because they are overseas and thought that I will be forgotten after the operation. I was wrong. Whenever I asked a question, Kaan got back to me straightaway (two days at max) and he also asked for my photos for routine checks several times throughout my recovery. I followed his exact hair product recommendations and I'm glad I did so. I'm extremely pleased with my results. It was such a life changer experience. I definitely recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a good service with great value.

I was thinking about getting an Hair Transplant for some time as my hair was getting thinner by the day and my bald spot was increasing. After doing some extensive research, I liked GetHair's performance and positive reviews. I contacted Kaan from GetHair's London Office and arranged an initial(free) consultation. I met Kaan at his office in Angel, London. I was very impressed with Kaan's calm and gentle nature. He was never pushy and was interested on what my expectations were and if I was suitable for a FUE transfer. Kaan took some photographs of my hairline and this was sent to Dr. Tayfun. Kaan then sent me the consultation report from Dr. Tayfun. The report was positive as my doner area was more then suitable. It was at this point, I decided to go ahead with the FUE Hair transplant and my tickets for Istanbul were booked. As I have been to Istanbul twice before recently, I had no worries what so ever going back there as it is a lovely, safe and modern city. I arrived at Istanbul Ataturk airport and was picked up by the driver of GetHair to be taken to the modern and nice hotel. As the hotel was close to the Hospital, this was very convenient. The next day was the day of my transplant and I was picked up to be taken to the hospital. The hospital had excellent facilities and akin to most top rated private hospitals in the UK. I was met by Julia, my patient coordinator. Julia is an absolute credit to GetHair. She spoke perfect English and put me at ease immediately with her excellent caring nature. Dr Tayfun initially consulted me at first and would be doing the more delicate parts of the operation before passing the rest on to his very medically trained, professional staff. The operation itself lasted about 7 hours with breaks inbetween. It was not painless but only tiny bits of stinging with the local anaesthesia kicking in. I would say most people can handle the stinging without much fuss. After the operation, naturally I was bit weary but Julia made sure I was ok and my blood pressure was checked. This was fine. Again very professional work from GetHair. I was driven back to the hotel and was instructed what to do in the first night by taking some pills and sleeping in the correct way. As I had a bit of pain, I did take a painkiller tablet and that soon got rid of any pain. I did not require to take another painkiller after this. The next morning I was taken back to the hospital and my hair was shampooed and cleaned by the staff. I was given shampoo for when I return to London. I was given clear instructions of what to do when I return to London for next 14 days. This period is vital and you do need to follow the instructions carefully on how to clean your hair, etc. I am now back in London so it's early days for the results. But as 3,500 grafts were inserted in my hair I do expect good results within a year or earlier. I would highly recommend GetHair. The staff are superb and very professional. Dr Tayfun is a leading light in FUE Hair Transfer so you will be in good hands. GetHair will offer me a lot of post op support and Kaan is always available to me if I have any queries. For those of you worried going to Istanbul, don't. This vibrant city has no worries and you can be back to your country in a flash. Don't delay as the quicker you do it, the quicker you will see results. After all, that's why we are here!! NR, London, UK.

My name is Wasim from Australia and like many has also experienced hair loss over the years. I am in my mid 20’s and tried various products and remedies to reduce the hair loss until I was asked to look further into Hair Transplant surgery which was the only solution to getting your hair fixed. After doing some intense research online about the transplant and speaking to many people I decided to look at Turkey due to the many specialised surgeons they have operating there and also the price which is lower than other countries. My next step involved choosing a particular surgeon/clinic. I found many companies through social media and emailed a few places until I came across GetHair. I sent them an email and it all started from there. GetHair gladly responded back to me quickly and was kindly introduced to Kaan (Manager). Kaan was very polite and professional and proposed that he would be more than happy to help me before and after. We exchanged many emails discussing my Hair loss situation and what I was looking to do and what they can offer (which was a full package – pick up to and from Airport/Hotel and Surgery). I also had to send my photos showing my hair loss for examination. I was never rushed throughout the whole consultation, felt comfortable and built a friendly relationship with Kaan. I was astonished at how great the customer service was and due to this I made my final decision to happily go ahead for transplant surgery with GetHair. The date of surgery and flight was all booked within a month ! Upon my arrival in Istanbul Turkey, a lovely driver also named Kaan was there waiting for me at the Terminal to have me picked up from Ataturk Airport and was taken to a nice Hotel which was one minute from the actual Clinic. The following morning after a beautiful free breakfast I was taken to the Medistate Hospital around the corner from the Hotel. I was introduced to Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu (surgeon), the Patient Co-ordinator Julia (very fluent in English) and the rest of the medical team. The Clinic was extremely clean and hygienic. Dr. Tayfun understood and appreciated that I had come from a long way and made me feel welcomed. He then examined my hair loss; we were all happy and took it from there! Throughout the process you are told exactly what will happen each step of the way to keep you updated. The surgery began with several anaesthetic needles followed by removing the Grafts. The nurses worked really hard and were indeed pleasant throughout the operation. Dr. Tayfun would often come in to assist during the procedure. The surgery was painless and the duration took about 6-7 hours during the day (including a break/lunch in between). I had a total of 3,485 Gafts taken for my hair transplant which covered my frontline towards the crown area, it was covered nicely and was a success. I straight away felt my confidence building up from there. The following day was a check up including a wash before discharge. I was given medication, treatment (shampoo) and all the instructions to be followed post operation on a daily to a monthly basis. I was finally dropped off at the Airport by Kaan. I honestly can’t thank Kaan, Dr. Tayfun and the medical team more than enough for their help, dedication and extreme hard work to make this all happen; they all made me feel at home and especially Julia for her care, hospitality and service throughout my stay in Turkey. If anyone is hesitating to travel abroad to Turkey then don’t be as you are truly taken care off throughout your stay and not left alone. You will find many there in the City and Airport of other patients getting hair transplant done and so you’re definitely not the only one. GetHair promises to keep in touch with you post operation and I have been effectively communicated with them when necessarily and for a regular check up. It’s only been close to a month since my operation and now hope to see substantial amount of growth in the next 4 -12 month period. It’s the best decision I have ever done and extremely happy. If you’re looking to change your life life and getting your hair back then don’t think twice and ‘choose’ GETHAIR ! -Wasim, M.

I'm a person who has been steadily loosing hair since my early twenties. predominantly on the front hairline. I tried minoxidil which only worked for me up to a point but over time the balding overpowered any affects the minoxidil was having. I also take Propecia tablets, which do little to regrow lost hair but instead block the hormones causing male pattern balding, (helping you retain hair and slow the shedding further). I was not satisfied with maintaining a broken and patchy hairline and wanted to explore what i could do to restore hair density and coverage. I got in touch with a London clinic about the FUE process and went to several consultations (all of which i was charged a fee for). After a long arduous process over several months, during which i had to meet a number of prerequisites, i finally managed to get a date for the procedure in the London Clinic. (This whole process was not pleasant at all to say the least and just added to the stress. I had none of this with Get Hair who were very to the point and efficient.) As the date of my procedure loomed nearer i started getting cold feet about the price i had been quoted (£15,000 for around 1500 grafts). I really did not feel at ease with this astronomical price. This is when i decided to look at other options and stumbled upon GetHair. I knew enough about FUE by now from my own extensive research and my dealings with the London clinic to make an informed decision and also appraise and judge GetHair accurately. So i decided to meet Kaan in their London office to get a feel for what they had to offer. Kaan is an absolute professional. I appreciated that he was very educated on hair transplants and very knowledgeable in this area. He was also very ethical at the same time and did not at any stage seem to sell a dream or over promote any facts. He is an absolute credit to Get Hair to have him as their London representative. I was astonished when i discovered the price difference between GetHair and the London clinic i was already involved with and had paid a deposit for. GetHair quoted me £2,300 for the same number of grafts (1500 - 1600) and the hotel accommodation included. From further research i now know this is closer to what you might expect to pay across hair transplantation industry. I was being horribly overcharged by the London clinic which could not even be justified by superior expertise, equipment or skill. In fact i would argue that GetHair are ahead on all three! I did foolishly and irrationally try to ignore Get Hair because of the perceived stigma of going abroad for such a procedure. The fact is the hair transplant industry is very well established in Turkey who have been right at the cutting edge of this, catering to domestic and European clients for more than a decade. I'm glad my common sense won out in the end and i cancelled my planned procedure date in London and arranged a date with Kaan and GetHair. I will now review how the procedure and my time in Istanbul went. You might be a bit underwhelmed as i really don't have anything notable to cover. Everything went exactly as planned. The hotel was great and the food good too. The whole thing was so smooth and stress free, that four months on and back to my day to day life in London it could easily slip my mind that this whole thing even happened. It could easily have been a dream. The anesthetic jabs did sting quite a bit but the actual procedure isn't all that uncomfortable. I sat there pleasantly chatting to the technicians. The only areas you might find inconvenient are the recovery period which for me was just over 2 weeks until all the light surface scabbing fell away from my head. The implanted hair will fall away too but new hair will start to grow stronger and stronger with each month. My balding was in patches rather than in regions so my results were very good. In only four months i have a full head of hair again so the 2 weeks of sporting a shaved head were certainly worth it. i tended to wear my hair short beforehand anyway. I still have 8 months worth of improvement to look forward too until the full potential of the procedure is reached. I am really thankful and would certainly recommend Get Hair, they deserve all the success they will get.

Very good company - highly recommended. I went to Istanbul for an operation with GetHair last summer, and wanted to post a review a year later to give an overall feeling about the whole experience and results. Firstly, they are very professional and care about their customers. When I met Kaan in London for a consultation, I was immediately impressed by his calm, professional and informative nature and didn't feel as if I was being 'sold' to at all. Whilst GetHair's prices were far lower than other quotes I had been given and money was not in itself the biggest factor in my decision, I still felt regardless of price that their pitch was the best, so this prompted me to go with them. When I arrived in Istanbul, I was understandably nervous about what to expect. I was greeted by Anand, my patient coordinator and a driver, and they were very friendly and helpful. Anand spoke perfect English so this made me feel comfortable. I was taken to the hotel, which was very impressive – posh and very friendly staff who were used to seeing patients stay on a weekly basis. On the morning of my operation, I was picked up by Anand and the driver and taken to the hospital. Very clean and modern facilities, and there was a very pretty interpreter there to help me feel comfortable around the staff. After consulting with the doctor and discussing my hairline, I was taken through to operate. The operation lasted around 8 hours in total and we stopped for lunch. The op is not painful as such, but the several injections to numb the pain sting a little. The doctor is only present to carry out the most delicate parts of the op - the design of your hairline in the beginning, and the opening of the channels (the rest is carried out by a specialist medical team), however they carry out 2 operations a day so they proved highly skilled and experienced at what they do. For a few days after the op, the donor area is painful, but it does heal fairly quickly and the 'scarring' disappears within 3-4 months. Within 2 weeks all the crusting from the transplanted area is gone, and the ‘dead hair’ begins to fall out. A year later, the new hair has mostly grown through, and I am pleased to report I am overall impressed with the results (a big improvement). GetHair are just as consultative and professional after the operation as before. As I had lost most of my hair before the op, there is more work to do, so I have already booked my 2nd transplant with GetHair for this summer! Overall a positive experience and excellent value for money – highly recommended, and there really is no advantage to paying 4 or 5x as much to get it done in the UK.

I had been thinking of getting a hair transplant for a very long time now and finally met Kaan at Gethair in Islington. What can I say!!! Every little detail of information I've had from him was exactly what happened. From the airport pick up to the hotel drop off, to operation day and airport drop off everything was spot on. I must say that Dr. Tayfun was absolutely amazing. Julia Pavlova ( the international coordinator) was so professional and caring together with the whole team. I can definitely recommend these guys to everyone that has thought or thinking of having a hair transplant. Just do it!!! Call Kaan and change you're life forever. Tim - London

First i want to thank Mr Kaan personally for his efforts he is honestly a knowledable and wise person. There are two types of people in the world some that are willing to accept their looks and others that want to change them so I'm one of the others that want to change them.. Its that i want to look good because when i look good it makes me feel good when i feel good i make things happen in my life confidence plays a big role in life for Success and yes I'm willing to pay the price no matter what! By the way people that have full hair will never really understand what is feels like to lose your selfhood as you lose your hair. I did my home work and decided to go with Get hair because i new that the surgeon that works with Kaan is a master in what he does he is very known in Istanbul and very qualified also member with ISHRS ASHRS & ESHRS and that is important to know. The price mattered less for me i just wanted some one that has good hands. Left from Israel to Istanbul last week with a little bit of stress driver drove me to the hotel next day 9:00 pick up from hotel to hospital meeting the Dr and his team very nice girls there was no problem communicating spoke very good english like me the doctor was very professional he new exactly what kind of hair i had made the hair line nicely and planned the 3500 grafts then started the hair transplant. It went great and also fast with professional hands there was no pain at all. I was back to the hotel at 18:00 very tired had room service bring me dinner took medication and fell asleep like a baby. Next morning had breakfast pick up to hospital at 12:00 for after care with one hour lesson how to take care of the grafts (very important) from there straight to the airport back to Israel. Its been a few days now after hair transplant and for sure i give you all a update after 6 months!
