“the whole experience went very smooth. The patient coordinator Mel picked me up personally at the hotel lobby. DR Ilker Apaydin was superb and his team were amazing and we discuss about my new hair line and he happily answered all the questions I had. Stuart in the London office is also a great asset to the team and stay’s in touch all the way through and after the operation. 3600 graft in total, done on the 22/10/18. The aftercare was superb. I highly recommend if you are looking for a hair transplant you just book it with gethair Turkey as their prices are cheaper than other places in the world, you will not be disappointed.”

“My experience with GetHair was entirely a smooth, well-coordinated process, which left the unmistakeable impression of dealing with experienced professionals. Going far from home, leaving one self to the care of others can test your ability to trust, but what helps indeed is to feel that you are in the hands of people who know what they're doing. Furthermore, a little extra praise to the patient coordinators I met in Istanbul. They were exactly what I hoped for in that situation; relaxed, caring, informed and kind. Plus charming :) Made the whole experience there, while new and unusual, still feel strangely familiar.”

“Only 4 weeks post-op so I can't comment on re-growth but the service has been very good from start to finish. Really professional, helpful and friendly. My surgeon was Dr Ilker and so please be aware that the hotel and hospital is different to the hotel/hospital for Dr Tayfun. I watched videos beforehand (of people seeing Dr Tayfun) and so was surprised when I arrived.”

“Extremely happy with the total service. I strongly recommend that you do thorough research. I reviewed dozens of websites and looked at commentary left, qualifications of the doctors, their past experience, the number of procedures they have done, the affiliations they have, if there was a local UK based representative or not, what type of doctor it was (I decided a plastic surgeon would be my best option as I was concerned about scarring and they are trained to minimise scarring). I decided on Dr Ilker as he provided the most complete mix of what I deemed important. Having a representative in London is very helpful. The questions I had were all answered by Stuart. I had peace of mind regarding what to expect. The payment was made in sterling before departure thereby avoiding forex fees. Quality of hotel was just what one wanted. Great breakfast, very friendly, spacious room. Felt at ease as there were many guests who were clearly hair transplant patients, so one was not alone looking like a plonker with bandages. The day of the operation was very smooth. Met representative from the previous day and walked me over to the hospital. Saw doctor Ilker. Got assessed for hairline and harvest potential. Lines drawn. Hair dyed and shaved short. Strip FUT removed after anaesthetic. 6 assistant nurses on hand. 3 divided up the grafts. Another 2 did FUE. Have lunch. All grafts counted and doctor Ilker did incisions for receiving area. Nurses do insertion of grafts. Very attentive to pain. Gave me more anaesthetic. 9 hours and a great success. No rushing, just quality focused. Washing of hair done every following morning by nurses at the hospital. Communication with representative regularly via WhatsApp. They also tried to help source Propecia for me. Very helpful all round quality service. Highly recommended!”

“er losing hair since my beginning of my 20s, i finally decided to go for a hair transplant procedure. Im 30 years old now, and come from Norway. I checked our several hair transplant clinics back in Norway, but they were all very expensive, and didnt have enough reviews and before/after photos from customers, so I decided to look up clinics in Turkey. I spent a couple of months doing research, and was impressed by Dr.Tayfuns qualifications, experience and reviews and before/after photos from their customers that all seemed happy. I travelled to Istanbul 22 october, and was picked up at the airport by a driver that took me to the hotel that Get Hair had included in their package. It was a nice hotel with good roomservice and staff. The operation day(Tuesday 23 October) had arrived, and i was exited as the driver picked me up. I needed 3200 grafts and the operation took around 5-6 hours. It was not so painful, and both Dr Tayfun and his assistants was really nice, and I honestly felt really good taken care of. They seemed very professional from the beginning to the end. I am very happy with the result so far, but the "end product" will come in 12 months, so im exited to see how it looks in a year. It looks for me like alle the grafts are placed with good density, and the details are stunning. Im glad i decided to go with Get Hair. I see a lot of people are thanking Stuart and Galina in their reviews, and before the operation I was unsure if all thoses reviews could be "That great", but honestly, i have to thank them myself. Good talks with Stuart on e-mail answering every question i had quickly, and providing good information on mail before and after the prosedure. Thanks also to Galina and the rest of the staff at Dr T hair transplant for taking good care of me. “I took just over a year to decide where to get my transplant done. I spoke to quite a few in the U.K. and to be honest I didn’t fancy going with any of them, especially after speaking to them in person. GetHair was recommended to me by my friend whose brother has had his hair done by them. I wouldn’t have had a clue his brother had his hair done, and that’s really what made me go with them. So I made my booking with them about 4 months ago, everything was included within the price bar the flights, so you get your transplant, taxis from start to finish, top class hotel with breakfast included. I flew out on 1st October and landed about 12am on Tuesday morning, taxi man was waiting at the Vodafone shop in the airport as arranged, took me straight to the hotel, but on the way Nasimi phoned the driver, and the call was passed to me. He told me what time I’d be picked up and that was going to be at 12.30pm. Driver dropped me off, really nice hotel and I knew everything that was going to happen. Next day, picked up at the agreed time, taken straight to the very modern hospital, up to floor 8 and I was impressed and felt very comfortable. So I met the doctor and I was informed what would happen, next they shaved my head and I put the gown on, then they injected my head and keep asking if I could feel anything, it didn’t take that long and it was totally numb, hardly any pain at all! Obviously you can’t really see what they’re doing, but they know what to do and they work as a team. You listen to music, whilst watching tv, I did drop off as I felt that calm and relaxed. Eventually they asked me to sit up, and I checked and it was just past 5.30pm. So from start to finish, the whole transplant was just over 4.5hrs. Nasimi advised how I needed to sleep etc and I was then taken back to the hotel. Had room service and it was super cheap, slept ok and didn’t feel any pain really. Next day I was picked up at 8.25am and taken back to the hospital, I was given a break down with Scott about what we needed to do, what drugs we need to take and when, shampoo, cream etc etc and a booklet to follow for the next 14 days. Before that information, my head was cleaned and reduced bandages were applied to make it easier to travel. Next I was back in the taxi, Scott was dropped off and Ali got in, we were then taken straight to the airport. I didn’t worry about a hat or trying to cover my head up, as they’re used to seeing people who have had a transplant done. They’ve been doing it in Turkey for over 20 odd years. So we flew back and I’d say a minimum of 5 people on the plane had had a hair transplant. Landed in Manchester and you’ll get a few looks but I was just glad I’d got it done. Two weeks after the opp is lets say military, but it’s there to help and assist your new hair. I told everyone in work and my friends I was getting it done, and they’ve been impressed. It’s going to be 3 weeks tomorrow that I had my opp, and I can honestly say they’ve provided me everything they initially offered and far more. Stuart is a great contact as he’ll answer any questions or queries you have very quickly! If you want your hair done, get in contact with Stuart, and they’ll be no pressure. Overall my observation of my research was the cheaper UK ones do botched transplants, they relay on minor celebrities to advertise their business aka KSL etc reviews are mainly negative and 3 of the people I met in Turkey were there to fix bad jobs in the U.K! Thank you to everyone at GetHair, very straight forward, did everything you offered and more..”

“Don’t delay go with GetHair today . Unfortunately I have expierence of having a hair transplant in the UK through KSL who were terrible and charged me over £6000 they gave me a new hair line however they didn’t really deal with hair loss at my crown and other areas. They were con artists with people now taking them to court. I needed a company who had a good reputation and qualified doctors, I found it in GetHair. In Istanbul they are over 2000 hair transplant clinics but less than a handful with qualifications like Dr Tayfun and his team. Dr Tayfun conducts the transplant himself which is a great confidence builder knowing the work carried out is by a qualified doctor with a wealth of experience. From my first enquiry the full team including Stuart in London took into consideration your needs and were honest and upfront about what GetHair could do. After conducting extensive research Gethair was only the company who ticked all the boxes. I was picked up from the airport and taking to a five star luxury hotel which was excellent. On the procedure day I was looked after by all staff who put you at ease and through English speaking staff you are fully aware of what is going on at each point. Overall I received 2800 grafts which is way more than KSL did previously. I am only two weeks in so there is still a long way to go however I’m confident my results will be good. The aftercare provided by GetHair is excellent all medication and lotions are provided and any questions answered by Massini through what’s app. I was worried about travelling home with a scabby head but there was absolutely nothing to worry about, on my flight home there was 5 other people who just had the procedure and in the airport so many people were in the same boat as me so don’t let that stop you. I cannot wait for the results now. The only disappointing issue was the taxis they were late every day which did start to annoy me I don’t mind being ten minutes late but on my procedure day I was late 40 minutes then half an hour late for the airport which did nearly result in me missing my flight. Apart from that I cannot fault the service in anyway. When going for a hair transplant you want confidence that the right people will conduct the procedure and look after you, not just take your money and not care about the results. I really believe GetHair look after you and care about the service they provide. Contact Stuart today you won’t be disappointed.”

“Making the decision to commit to a medical procedure in another country is one not to be taken lightly. I made sure I did plenty of research and found ‘Get hair’ to be the most professional, organized company and with a proven track record. With ‘Get Hair’ I’ve felt safe, supported and informed from the very first contact with Stuart in London, through arriving in Istanbul, the procedure and aftercare. As soon as I met with Dr Ilker and his team of nurses I knew I was in very good hands. The hospital was spotlessly clean and my accommodation was extremely comfortable and in a very safe ‘tourist area’ of Istanbul. Dr Ilker and his very experienced, professional team of nurses treated me with great care and consideration and it’s clear they are extremely good at what they do. The nurses were kind, gentle and encouraging and worked as a very professional well drilled team (it’s a long process) and I can’t recommend Dr Ilker highly enough. He’s a very skilled and experienced surgeon with an impressive CV and he carried out the most important parts of the surgery himself, never handing over to anyone with less skill. I knew I was in very safe hands with him at all times. I’m now back in the USA and recovering well. ‘Get Hair’ are still in touch and keeping track of my aftercare. All in all, I’ve had a very positive experience with this company and can recommend it highly. Many thanks Stuart, Dr Ilker, Mel and the fabulous nurses who took such great care of me.”

“I had my second procedure with Get Hair a month ago. Second procedure I hear you shout? Well I was happy with my first procedure for the front of my receding hairline but did want a second one on my crown area to match the destiny of the front. Like before, service was excellent from the moment you land at Istanbul to the day of the operation and all the after care instructions. Dr T was there at the beginning of the operation to start things off and came back later for insert the grafts. Staff were great and Nasimi the English translator had a very good, caring manner to put you at ease. The procedure itself is not very painful and I just needed one painkiller before I went sleep on the night of the operation. The pain was gone when I woke up the next morning. I am now in back in London for waiting game. I am confident I will get good results after a year as I did before with the front of my hairline. Highly recommended and GetHair are always there to help with any post op queries. I would not delay going for a Hair Transplant with GetHair. The quicker you do, the quicker you will see the results you want.”

“Very impressed with service from GetHair from start to finish. Stuart in London was very helpful, answering all my questions, putting my mind at ease. Service Istanbul end was excellent. My driver was waiting for me, taking me to my beautiful 5* Hotel on the Asia side of Istanbul (had room service both nights & food excellent and very cheap for 5* hotel). All staff at hospital very professional and seemed very knowledgeable in their practice. Don't worry about travelling back with your obvious hair transplant wounds as I met many men at the airport who had had the same done in Istanbul so I didn't feel on my own! It's only been 2 weeks now so I'm really hoping for good results. I'll keep you updated hopefully”

“The service and amenities were excelent and all my questions were answered very promtly. The customer service and the whole team are very friendly and go out of thair way to make you feel as comftable as posible. I was very happy with the whole experiance and would not hasitate recomending Them to my friends. The only thing that I would change is some better hat that can be worn for the first 14 days and prefarably with no advertising on it.”

“Hair transplant is a stressful ordeal in many ways like Money, Time, success factors, sacrifices. One must do plenty of research on first if they should go for one and if so which one [FUE or FUT]. If you have decided FUE then research on all different surgeries across the world [Why not right!!!]. This is what I did and came across Get Hair. Turkey based but office in London is not assuring enough on many things like accountability and quality. Once i ruled out all other clinics I started researching more about Get Hair and I was in for a surprise. It was too good to be true so i was tentative still. I contacted them a year before i decided to go ahead with them. Had a few conversations, went through their websites and then deiced to go for a consultation which was free. I had an option of going in to London or send pictures over and i chose the latter. I received the report the next day as promised [Again another positive surprise]. It was clear and based on Grafts. I questioned the need for so many grafts etc for which i got satisfying responses. But this was still not enough for me to make a decision. So I went into a UK clinic in Bristol for a consultation. It was a great clinic, posh ambience etc but the price given was 31/2 time more than Gethair. After multiple deliberation I finally made the decision and went ahead. Contacted after a gap of few months but the communication was seamless. I paid my advance and i was set. I was given immediate receipt and instructions about the surgery and how to prepare. Once the arrangements were made [Like airport pickup based on my flight, 2 night 4 star Hotel, drop back to airport] the day finally came. I landed in Istanbul and my driver was where I was told. I was taken to the hotel with all comforts. Hotel check in smooth and communication on what to do on the day, what not to do, when to expect the driver next day was clear and concise [Again positive surprise]. I had a nice sleep. Woke the next day, had my breakfast and driver was on time. Reached the place which was a state of the art Hospital [Never expected that!!] and the clinic was in 8th floor. Paper formalities was done with and I was taken straight in. I met the doctor himself [Dr. Tayfun] who explained few things, drew my future hairline and was taken to a hair cut. This was followed by the actual surgery which was explained by an assistant in English in each step on what to expect. The surgery took 3 hours in total for me to put local anesthesia, make insertions, remove from donor and finally plant the hair. Donor area was bandaged and it was a combined effort of a doctor, a assistant and about 4-5 nurses [Dare I say they were all beautiful :)] Jokes apart all of them were absolutely professional. I had no complaints, nothing what so ever [Surprised again]. Post my surgery I was given instructions on what to expect that day and when to meet next day. Next day came and i check out, went for post op check. I was given a hair wash after removing a bandage. Then started a brief lecture [No offense Nasimi] by the patient coordinator on detailed day wise steps, what medicines to take, when to take, what precautions to follow when sleeping, how to use their lotion etc. I was given a lot of stuff which I think would be charged in many clinics in UK. I was dropped of the airport on time. I was surprised in the airport as i saw about 25-30 people with head like me [Bald, with black bands :)]. The transition between the patient coordinator in UK and Turkey was seamless. There could be multiple clinics in Turkey but I believe GetHair [Dr T in UK] is the best among all if not in the world. Read the reviews in the website, external sites and particularly Youtube. There are video reviews. I would highly recommend it. My customer service from UK is still continuing tremendously so you are in good hands.”

“It just 10 days since my operation, so as you can gather I have long way to go. So far I am making good progress. I have a new hairline and and both areas( donor and recipient areas ) are healing nicely. I look forward with anticipation to see how my hair grows. Hopefully it all be good result. I want to thank Stuart in the UK and Dr Ilker Apaydin and his team for being so nice and helpful. I recommend Get Hair as top quality professional company to anyone thinking of getting a hair transplant. Istanbul is beautiful city and a great choice as location of this procedure done.
