“I can't recommend the quality of this product in terms of assembly. One ring could not be joined until I removed excess plastic, in a number of places, so that it would sit correctly. Some of the pre-drilled holes were too close to the edge of the ring and one hole was completely unusable. I hope I will be able to remove the doors when I need to, they were a very tight fit. No screws were supplied to screw the doors shut.”

“I’m happy with my composting bin. However, delivery procedures could be much improved. Very little information provided just a date of delivery. Thought delivery hadn’t arrived as no contact with me even though I was home and they had my mobile number. First I knew of delivery was next morning, the two compost bins had been put over the wall into my front garden. The base I had ordered was missing. I rang the company about this, then proceeded to get two calls from the company was I sure it wasn’t there as driver was insistent he had delivered it! No, it was not delivered. Better communication could have avoided this and the base was eventually delivered to me.”

“The bin does not fit very well on the base. It twice blew away in strong winds. The edges around the flap at the bottom are sharp. I cut my hand putting it back after the flap blew away. The overall quality is not great. I have now moved it onto bare ground, without the base, in between two large shrubs in a border to stop it blowing away again. I managed to gather most of the kitchen waste from the around the garden and put it back in again.”

“My 200 L hot bin arrived promptly, complete and in excellent condition. Recent additional research into how to get it started and maintain it in the cold winter months is more involved and complicated than I previously envisaged. Still, when I've sorted out reliable sources of green and brown matter and their storage nearby my new acquisition, I am sure I am going to have a ball!”

“Although the compost bins are expensive by comparison with the type usually available on line and in DIY stores, the quality does seem to be much better. Ordering was easy and delivery reasonably quick.”
