Bought new washing machine from Workington branch. Arrived a few days later because it was not in stock, said it was when I ordered it. Machine arrived with front panel damaged, why was it not in its packaging? They arranged a technician from Hotpoint to change it had to wait a week for him. Easy fix, but shouldn’t have needed it. Guys fitted machine no problem. Pleased with machine, easy to use, good price. Need a new cooker next, sadly I won’t be buying from this branch.

Hi Patrick, We are really sorry to hear this, we have checked and you had package removal on your sales order so the delivery lads unbox the items on the van before they bring it in to the house. Sincere apologies regarding the damage, this can happen on rare occasions with all manufacturers products between the factory and the end customer. Friendly and helpful personnel. However, the system for ensuring that orders arrive on time is unsatisfactory. It should not be left for the customer to contact the showroom to remind them that an item is due for delivery. Only then do the personnel start chasing up delivery.

Was told appliance was in stock, and a date for delivery was confirmed, recieved a phone call on the day of actual delivery and was told there was no stock of that particular item!
