“by how motoring magazines rate you so highly, I havnt had to use a breakdown service for about 15 years and hope I don't, but going on your record I believe that when push comes to shove you will deliver.”

“100% by far the best breakdown company in the UK. I have had to use them twice over the years and after being let down by the RAC before joining GEM. Very polite and understanding control staff,nothing is a bother and if they say they will ring you back to keep you informed they will. Best value for money recovery.”

“I joined GEM today, after a bit of internet research, as they come highly recommended and their price is far better than more well known competitors. Hopefully I’ll never have to use them, but I now have peace of mind at a great price. Signing up was very easy, and I immediately received all the confirmation emails and contact numbers I’d need in the event of a breakdown. Also the phone app looks great, with a location finder and ‘assist me’ button. I feel better already.”

“The gentleman at the end of the phone was very helpful and clear. The garage arrived within an hour. However he did not try to diagnose the problem. He said it "was beyond him" and just went straight for recovery to my garage some 14 miles away. My garage found out it was a bad earth under the car. I may have to join the RAC so I can get someone who will actually try to fix it first. The gentleman did attend was very nice and I am sure he did his best. He certainly knew what he was doing loading and unloading my car onto the recovery vehicle.”

“Went to Gem approx 4 years ago after my previous breakdown cover almost doubled their price. Price has remained competitive (not greedy) & staff have been helpful.”
