Very pleased with being back with GEM again after several years of being ripped-off by other brake-down companies. I saved a bundle this year and like the membership being on a personal basis rather than it being tied to a vehicle. Great stuff GEM.

We only had one breakdown in our first year with GEM and found them to be very professional and quick to send a tow truck out, which took us to our preferred local garage. The only downside for us was being charged more than new customers for our second year's cover

Easy to deal with website quick to arrange and set up cover. Will be able to comment further when paperwork arrives and if or when I need to use the breakdown service.

Not had to use GEM yet but it is excellent value for money and very easy to set up and add new people as necessary. Customer services very quick to answer and very helpful.

Early days yet, cover starts tomorrow. However contact to set up was easy, your staff excellent to talk to, well versed in the product, not pushy and extremely pleasant to talk to. If subsequent experience is similar I will be well pleased.

As a new member of GEM Motoring Assist I have have not had (and neither do I really want to have) experience of using their services. I can say, however, that the package they offer is equal, or better than others I researched, and their rates are equally unbeatable. I first made a phone call and spoke to a most helpful lady who carefully explained what was on offer and what it would mean to me. I was sold. As soon as my renewal date arrived I went on line, signed up, and switched to be what appears to currently be the best breakdown service available you never want to use!

I've not had cause to call GEM out yet, so I can't comment on their service. However, their newsletter makes for an interesting read, and suits an older generation of drivers who want motoring information without the 'Top Gear' fluff. However, the biggest benefit this year is the addition of Paypal as a payment mechanism. Well done to whoever decided to do that, it made this years renewal effortless.
