I have just taken out breakdown cover and the assistant Lisa was very informative. She does a great job for GEM

We found Alice at the call centre very helpful and friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised to find there was no tedious or lengthy wait going through various options before being put through to an operator. Also that your company does not use the very expensive telephone numbers, thus keeping the cost to your customers of telephone calls down. We hope you will continue to offer this service. Thank you

No call-outs as yet, but easy to join, and the magazine is better that a lot of freebies provided by other companies.

I cannot comment on the service, but the website was really good. One small problem though. Little confusion over cover, maybe change the 1 person etc to 1 driver 2 drivers etc. Initially my partner thought if we broke down you would leave her at the roadside LOL

Gem is great value and it's my third year of membership. The sad thing is that I chose a new policy because it was £17 cheaper than renewing. A later phone line would be great too as your members area forced me to use a different email address. This cost you a star, it's only my past positive experience that stopped me rating you lower. Sort these things out please.

price is not inviting initialy until you read the data....then your policy reads better than the others. we have used yourselves before, and been happy with your service but like many price is a deciding factor for us know and feel let down that come renewal time in that loyalty is not rewarded

I joined this morning and found the joining up really painfree and couldn't have been easier. Hopefully I have no breakdowns but if I do, I can review the service

Easy to purchase breakdown cover, and offers the best solution for my wife and me by covering the person not the cars.
