I haven't yet had to utilise their good services, thankfully, but I have no doubt that the write up given by Which?, the Consumers Association, is accurate. Certainly obtaining membership through a no-fuss, straight forward online system is very refreshing. Having a one price option instead of having to negotiate after receiving a greatly inflated quotation year on year will be a very welcome, peace of mind, no-nonsense form of business. Thank you for being an innovative and simple way of getting motoring support. A breath of fresh air.

Signing up was easy. Price good. And recommended by “Which” Provider. Web pages could be clearer. Had to look for policy schedule. Could be better displayed.

Joining was simple. Options very clear, pricing very clear. Speedy and glitch-free. Expect breakdown service to be just as efficient.

Only just taken out the policy based on WHICH recommendation. Easy to set up. Hopefully won’t need to call out an engineer!

Just joined. Very straightforward process. Breakdown cover package also appears to be comprehensive, with fewer terms, conditions & exclusions than some other providers.

A very friendly and easy to understand opperator. Who explained things clearly and answered all of my questions. After speaking with my old provider, I then went back to the web site, and that was easy and hassle free too.

Registering for Motoring assist was quick, simple and easy. The website is easy to navigate around and I had completed the application very quickly.

I myself was a member of GEM in the 1960-70s but lost track owing to work and moving house,so now I am back and feel just as I did then relaxed knowing that once again I am back where I belong with the perfect motoring organisation. THANKYOU.

Clear, transparent pricing and simple explanations of policy types. I even read all the T&Cs and policy documentation and they were equally straight forward and not excessively wordy. Very easy joining/purchasing process.

Only just joined on-line (1 hour ago) which was very easy. No experience of the recovery service yet....and hope never have need to use it, but nice to know it's there should you need it.

The App works okay UNTIL I joined then STOPPED working and has NEVER worked since. A bit of a con suspected here just to get people to join then make it IMPOSSIBLE for members to open the App. Hence IF you breakdown there is not. A hope in hell they will know where you are. I think I am considering CANCELLING membership and join a more reliable breakdown service. NOT A GOOD WAY TO WELCOME NEW MEMBERS IS IT ?

We are sorry that you appear to be experiencing issues with the GEM app. Please could you contact our customer service team on 01342 825676 (Mon – Fri, 9am to 5pm) so that we can take details from you on the device you are using to enable us to investigate further as we are not aware of any current issues. Please note that if you do have the mis-fortune to breakdown when you call the 24hr helpline the operator will take as much information from you in regards to where you are in order to help locate you. Found out about GEM Motoring Assist and head very good reviews about the service. Joining is really easy and quick to get going and very good price would recommend them for their service in that, but have not had to call them out as yet and hope that I will not have to but is great to know that they are there 24/7 just in case

Simple to use website, clear benefits and great reviews from Which? And Co - what’s not to like? Oh yeah - and a quote £250 less than the AA. Switching never been easier...
