Good service and prefer the driver cover rather than individual vehicle cover. Haven't used gem call out for a while but have used historically and found good call out time and successful problem resolution.

very helpful and clear from first call to roadside. Ascertained my safety status from the outset and the roadside was quick and polite. Well done everyone.

I have only had to call assistance once for a breakdown and found the service excellent. The person who took my call made sure I was safe and had a safe place to wait for the recovery vehicle. My car was picked up within an hour of my call and during my wait i received another call to check I was ok. I also received text messages giving the name of the person who was coming to assist and their expected arrival time. Overall a fantastic service that took the worry out of a stressful situation.

In all the years we were members we never used anything so can't really comment. We got a magazine that we didn't really want,or need, every now and then. I wouldn't say we wouldn't rejoin but I admit I find it annoying that new members with no brand loyalty can get membership so much cheaper.

Brilliant! Had an engine gasket fail in the middle of nowhere in the pitch dark and pouring rain - total loss of coolant and stranded by the roadside on my own. Super-efficient and reassuring GEM had a recovery vehicle out in record time and me and my unhappy car taken safely home. GEM made sure they maintained contact and kept me up to date all the time, and the recovery service was excellent. Glad to say the car is now repaired and happy too! Couldn't ask for better service - well done and thanks to everyone.

Very happy with the service provided in terms of breakdown recovery . not so happy that gem would not match the internet price for NEW clients for existing ones. therefore i am no longer with GEM

We never used the service so can't comment about responce time but the rnewalk quote we ot was higher than the new policy price. Even after contacting customer service promised a call back which didn't happent so have to go with someone else.

A recent assist call out when my wife broke down alone in her car with our 2 children (aged 7 and 9). It took well over an hour for someone to attend. And when they did attend I was concerned that the recovery driver suggested they just drive home. The clutch on the AC compressor had burned out so there was lots of smoke and a pungent smell, just by smell alone you would no advise to drive but the recovery driver said he had no sense-of-smell and could visually see nothing wrong so he advised my wife to continue her journey. So in short, could we aim top improve call out times and perhaps introduce so form of QA with the garages you use. Regards Paul

Gem Motoring Assist has helped me on two occasions and the help was very prompt and well appreciated, I would recommend Gem to any one looking for uk recovery, roadside assistance and home assistance. Regards Nim Singh

Helpful telephone staff. I was kept informed while I was waiting for help. Friendly recovery man arrived and moved car for us. His diagnosis of the fault was wrong but we have since had the car fixed by our garage.

Had cause to call on GEM Breakdown recently and cannot compliment the service more highly from the call taker to the breakdown truck operative. They deal with you promptly ,efficiently and the e/t/a time given is normally accurate Keep up the good work
