It was clear and simple to join that is what the rating above reflects as I am new to gem I cannot comment about their efficiency in the event of a breakdown and hope I never have too.

Once again I have had to join as a new member to receive the 2 months discount, when will gem wake up and give the discount to loyal customers, I have been a member for years but every year have to rejoin, very annoying to say the least

Rejoined after several years with cover provided by manufacturer. Previously had to use GEM to recover motor caravan and had superb service and received payment promptly.

Wow, had barely completed purchasing our roadside recovery policy than I was asked to review GEM Motoring Assist. First observations and ease of joining were straightforward, but then I downloaded the 'GEM Assist Me' app and was most disappointed to read the reviews and to learn that the app has not been updated by Apple since 2017 and is pretty useless for the purpose it was designed for. I can only hope that should we find ourselves having to seek roadside assistance the app locates us accurately and expert help arrives in a timely manner.

I was looking for cover and felt some companies were overcharging. I mentioned it to my son who said to me that Gem is one of the best in the market.

It's tricky to write a review of a product you've not tried out fully, but the process of signing up for GEM breakdown cover was certainly easy and quick. Also, very good value, considering you're covered for older cars, including classics. You're not just limited to one named car, either. It's you, the driver/owner, who is covered.

Waited till my insurance was due to change today and taken out top policy to match the Range Rover. Just want the App for mobile to be working and no issues for years of peaceful mind. The app that suppose to go on the phone, review says not been updated and today, i installed the app and wasn't able to enter my details said enter a email address which i have three times, please get this sorted as little things matter.

you should learn NOT to use colours on your e mails. It causes great waste of time and resources for any customer wishing to print out what you send.It is most annoying since I run a busy laptop and printer managing a manufacturing company. Pretty pretty yes but a glorious waste of everybody's time and resource.
