MY PREMIUMS HAVE SUDDENLY DOUBLED, I HAVE EMAILED THEM SEVERAL TIMES FOR AN EXPLANATION WITH NO REPLIES. QUICK ON TAKING MY MONEY, HOPELESS WITH REPONSES TO WHY. NOT IMPRESSED. WONT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Hi Lesley, Thank you for your feedback. We email to advise of any change in premium, prior to it being collected or applied to the credit agreement. Our admin team may take up to 72 hours to respond to queries, especially during the current climate. Please contact our customer service department on 01733 308358. Seems to be a good way of insurance with the black box too that your payments may go down with better driving!Excellent idea it gives you a good incentive to use them .

This company is awful if you are being offered a black box! I have been with this company less than a year. Over 4 months ago i had to get the battery changed on my car, in doing so my black box score rapidly reduced to zero. After noticing it a few months later i tried again and again to contact them and to get it amended. No reply. After ringing, the operator on the other end of the phone did not listen and said it was my driving, even though the evidence shows it was the battery change. This is only one issue but it demonstrates the company's lack in costumer service and understanding, and highlights their inability to help.

Hi Dionis, I have listened to the call in question with you and our agent and we can confirm that our agent acted in a professional and polite manner. When you take out a policy for someone else, anyone can do this for anyone, but the second the policy is active, we cannot discuss any information with anyone other than the policyholder and/or authorised personnel. As you were not authorised at the time, we couldnt discuss anything with you. We can now see that you are authorised and can talk on behalf of your partner. Regards, Dylan

Everytime I asked a question or needed help they assisted with no fuss. Quite a quick response time aswell to be honest. The black box is really good. If you're a first time driver I would highly recommend this product and be honest through your driving. I have saved £1100 on my second year quote in comparison to my first. So it does work if you drive sensible and follow the tips they give. The scoring for the breaking is a little harsh but nothing major. I saved £400 on my premium through the black box and they adjusted the direct debit with no hassle and notified me. Installing the black box to your battery is a doddle and the app is really easy to navigate and understand. Couldn't recommend them more. :)

I paid £150 telematics fee, my first appointment to have the black box fitted was cancelled as I was not feeling well. I had a busy couple of weeks and did not manage to rearrange the appointment, so Wise Driving then messaged me to say the policy would be cancelled and this would cost me an extra £75 as well as the £150 telematics fee. Oh, and the cost of the insurance so far. I was told I could ring and I MIGHT be able to get an extension for fitting the black box. After a good 45 minutes trying to get through and explain what was going on, a very rude young man kept me waiting for a long time while he 'spoke to his manager'. He then told me that it wasn't that easy to just get an extension and I needed to call back on Friday and check whether I could get an extension. As my patience had run out I said I would just cancel, even though I was going to be paying over £225 for 2 weeks insurance, but even this was not made easy for me, I was told I should wait and see if I could get an extension as the policy wouldn't be cancelled for another week. So they can tell me that I am not allowed an extension and charge me even more for that week, I presume. They have extorted money from me. I'd rather cut my losses now and pay for a new insurance than take my chances staying with this company, especially after reading some of the other reviews. This company creates policies that allow them to over-charge and the customer service really says it all. Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely terrible in every aspect, STAY AWAY. I’ve been consistently lied to by their terrible customer service who have no idea about what’s going on and no communication amongst themselves. I was robbed of a year NCB and told difference stories by everyone I’ve spoken to.

Hi Bashirat, The cooling off period is for any additional fees/cancellation fees on the policy. You would still be charged for the days that you have used on cover as this is not free. Regards, Dylan

Good insurance, you can earn money back which is a bonus, however the telematics box is sensitive with acceleration.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience, regarding the acceleration it works as a G Force receptor the same as the braking score so it will monitor you pulling off and moving back into your seat as poor acceleration. The way to increase this score is to smoothly accelerate with the clutch taking care when changing gears. Regards, Dylan
