“Always good comms and have found them to be very fairly priced for insuring classic cars. The 'agreed valuation' process can be a bit tiresome with providing photos, receipts and on occasion an independent valuation, however, that is a necessity for the older and desirable cars”

“Initial quote was good, but when I changed vehicle price shot up considerably. I had expected a price increase but compared to other insurers was much more expensive. Needless to say I will be shopping around next year!”

“Had a couple of problems. Charged twice for breakdown cover thought it was sorted then when money came from bank it wasn’t. But I dealt with unise, who was extremely helpful”

“This is my second year with Performance direct. They are very easy to communicate with and a great price car insurance cover. I havn't and hope i dont have to make a claim as yet so i cant comment on that, so i can only give 4 stars but other than that would recommend.”

“After many years of insuring my classic sports car through Performance Direct (12 I think) I have switched to another insurer. I wasn’t dissatisfied with the service at all. However due to limited mileage the premium was relatively small. The addition of a broker fee almost equal to the premium was onerous and every year I needed to ring to negotiate a lower sum. This always happened but it became a nuisance so this year I switched to another insurer who doesn’t add a broker fee.”

“As with all renewals the price went up considerably so I did a compare search and the matched it, why they didn't give me their best price in the first place it woukd have saved a lot of time. But saying that, very friendly and easy prosses and I would recommend them but as with all companies do a compare first so you have a price in mind 😉”
