I’m Really upset as I’d set up a direct debit and paid and initial payment. The following day the full amount for the year was also taken .

You get initial quote and once you purchase. Price go up and then renewal quote same as last year... even with ncb and when you query not willing to listen

Quotations for policy renewal are based on a live market and the insurer determines the premium based on the risk factor of the details provided. Thieves I had a policy with £1680 for the year 2 years later and my renewal quote from Igo 4 was 1430 robbery.. While I went to a comparison site and this exact same company same policy same adress same car offered me a quote or £700 £730 cheaper than there apparent best offer for renewal. Extremely dodgy! Don’t let them rob you!!!!

Charged 128.00 for a cancelled policy. Debt collectors constantly harassing. 60.00 cancellation fee. 30.00 missed payment fee. Money grabbers.

Hi, The charges that have been applied were clearly stated within our terms and conditions that you agreed to when taking the policy up. You can find our fees under section 2 and 3 of our terms and conditions. We provide all of the information you need to make an informed decision based on your needs on whether this policy is right for you. Very very poor company. They cancelled my insurance due to them cancelling my prior insurance fo no reason. I paid 3 lots of initial payment and now im getting charged 3 cancellation fees on top of that. So no insurance for nearly £400. Stay well clear of them. The operator i spoke to on the phone was no use at all, very sarcastic and no pleasant.

Wouldn’t use again, we have changed providers at renewal date. Igo4 extended the insurance without asking us if we needed it. We did not ask or require this and now we are being charged for this. I have been asked twice to provide proof that we have insurance, which I have sent twice. We have now been referred to debt collection because I refused to pay for something I did not ask for or require. Disgusting behaviour not just at this time but at any time.

Charging extra charges in times like this is disgusting, im self employed and have no source of income with this lockdown going on and now i have more money troubles with these extra charges

Customer service is slow and did not understand my issue. I must have emailed my issue and spoken to them a number of times without them resolving it but instead they kept threatening to cancel my cover. They also would not accept my renewal letter from the previous insurance company insisting it did not show my NCB years. The whole thing was very frustrating.

AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I urge you. I’ve had so many issue with this company but the one that takes the absolute cake is when my insurance raise mid policy from £58 to £159 for a 2006 car with no email or letter indicating this was going to happen. It’s only by chance I called and I was made aware of this. So sneaky and doggy. Now I’ve been waiting almost three weeks and still can’t get an explanation they're now passing the blame to Close brothers saying I need to contact them. Cheap is not always better. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Insured my car 24th of April Paid for it. Then I found out my insurance started on the 27. Of April. I have contacted the company they said it’s Confused.com fault.

Worst insurance company I ever had, wish I never purchased the policy. Customer service useless, hidden costs, not willing to help with issues. Avoid!!

Poor service everytime you call with language barrier. Didnt explain process clear regarding the credit description connected to your direct debit having to digitally sign.

Bad customer service, cost me £30 because they couldn't set up a new direct debit properly then admitted it and wouldn't refund.

Failure to be contactable during these tough times but they still managed to cancel my policy over a discrepancy that was not my own, Customer service poor and if they are not contactable they should not be cancelling a policy which is not for a correct reason and incurs a cost to the customer

Had a no fault accident, third party took full responsibility, vehicle was written off, I didn't need the insurance anymore because I no longer had the car yet these robbers still wanted me to continue paying them, clear case of typical insurance mis selling. So I said no, and decided to cancel the insurance and for such a genuine reason beyond my control they decided to slam on all these charges out of nowhere, £65 cancellation fee, £60 other charges! What a load of daylight robbers. I cancelled because they wrote off the vehicle, I didn't have it anymore, honestly HOW GENUINE CAN IT GET?? So i'm going to give them a running for their money, well, for actually robbing me. To make matters worse, they issued a proof of no claims with incorrect claims information, how subjective and unprofessional. I am taking my case to Financial Ombudsmmen and FCA, hopefully it will finally be decided in court. These robbers need some education on "fair charges" policies. BUY INSURANCE FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK !! I had the worst experience of my life and i've thrown them in the dust bin!
