Absolutely terrible customer service. Raised a complaint and I was told that the team is located in South Africa and I will receive a call on Monday morning. This is a couple of months and Inhave yet to receive a call! This is the only company that is charging you substantial cancellation fee (£75) even if you leave in the first couple of days of taking the policy!

Absolutely treat terribly never go with this company ..cancelled my policy due to there employees mistakes at customer services .. took 300.00 no refund nothing cant help me they said ..stay clear

Great price, lowest by far and had the smallest excess however their customer service is not great. Not sure if the guy I was talking to was having a bad day but he was very confused with what was happening & it took a while to get my quote from Compare the Market & then proceed to purchase the quote. Finally, however, it all went through & I've now been insured with them for a couple of weeks. Overall I am satisfied, but I've deducted two stars because of my experience with the call center.

If i could could give this no stars i would. Renewed insurance last year as i didn't see the email and forgot when it was due to find i was paying over £1000 for the year, came to renewal this year and they have dropped the price by £20 i have 11 years no claims and no convictions and i can not believe what they are wanting for the renewal price. I went on compare the market to see what was out there for cheaper and even they were cheaper on their by half what they was asking for. They are just trying to rip people off by hoping they dont question it or check else where. I would highly recommend not going with this company at all. Really are the worst have dealt with its seems like they are just scamming people.

Hi Jamie, We're sorry to hear you're unhappy. As a broker, we manage and arrange the insurance but the cover, claims and prices are determined by the insurer. When taking up a new policy or offering a renewal we will process the details supplied and we will look through the panel of different insurers and provide the best price offered by one of them. It is also good to be aware that insurance prices are not always guaranteed to go down in price and also some insurers will offer discounts on new business that they don't on a renewal. When looking at the new business quote this could have been a different insurer than what renewal was offered with that will give a bigger discount for new business policy. Unfortunately, we're unable to match prices even ones on our panel as these as advised above are determined by the insurers. NEVER USE IGO4 INSURANCE - THEY JUST LOOK TO MAKE MONEY FROM YOU IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE. ANY EXCUSE JUST TO CANCEL YOUR POLICY - NEVER USE THEM - NEVERRRRRRR THEY NEVER COME UP WITH SOLUTIONS - THERE REPLY TO THIS WILL BE Please can you send us a private response with your details and we can look into this for you?

iGO4 is a rip off insurance company in conjunction with Close Brothers Finance, I was tricked into buying and later realized that it is a £30 penalty on missed direct debit payment. Using Close Brother as financial provider is a cheat.

I took out car insurance with these idiots as they were cheap , a few weeks later they cancelled my policy saying my previous insurers had cancelled my insurance and they could no longer offer insurance . I explained that this is not true as I've been with my last insurers for the last five years , which my latter insurers validated and couldn't understand the issue . In the end I found it pointless arguing with the half-wit staff who were unhelpful , to top it all off igo4 are demanding I pay them a cancellation fee which they can kiss my arse for they are nothing more than con men.

My regret is I did not read the reviews before taking out insurance with this company and should have stayed with my former insurer. I instead decided to save money which has in fact now cost me more because they have administered unnecessary and unwarranted charges. They are not there to support the customer, they give conflicting advice and everything needs to be followed up by email - I can only imagine the drama if I unfortunately have to make a claim. There are better insurers in the market and this is not one of them!

I can't put into words how angry and upset with this company i am .Don't believe anything they email you or tell you over the phone it will be all lies. Please dont even consider this company. It gets no stars at all from me it's the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Only put 1 star up as couldn't leave none. Biggest bunch of lying b####### I've ever dealt with,had a policy with them, cancelled it when had to scrap the car.....4 years later they now trying take more money from me, wanting more money than the actual policy was in first place, so gotta go court against them now

Had an accident that was not our fault, all other parties agree, except Igo4, wanted to raise insurance premium by 1900 pounds for a Vauxhall Corsa, said if you do not renew with us you’ll find it hard with anyone else as you would have to state you had a claim. Compare the market quote from igo4 with stating I had a claim and no claims bonus £560, bunch of lying clowns, Went with Different provider quoted 332 with out any no claims bonus and said had an accident which was not our fault etc

Don’t be tempted by slightly cheaper prices, you will end up paying much more with exorbitant admin fees and cancellation charges. Staff are unhelpful and poor at communicating, just get constant repetitive template emails regurgitated without addressing any issues. Look at Google Reviews for a better representation of customer experiences.

Please - take my advice. DO NOT use this Insurance Company for any of your Insurance needs. Absolutely horrendous customer service. If something goes wrong-forget about it!! Avoid this company at all costs!

Absolutely terrified experience phoned up 3 times to try change my car. Wanting to charge £35 and my policy went up £400 what made it even worse was couldn't understand a word she was saying. I wanted to speak to someone English but that wasn't the case. Soon as I look about I'm cancelling my policy 😠😠

Hi Phillip, We're sorry to hear how you feel, are you aware you're able to make changes on your customer portal without being charged the £35 admin fee. A change on the policy can affect the price, as different vehicles are different risks. When a change is made the insurers will look at these details and statistics and see if this changes the likelihood of a claim being made. Absolutely terrible experience...!!! I needed to make a home insurance claim after finding my garage broken into. Their automated call handling is a joke or intentionally designed to make it difficult. I spoke to over 10 people over the course of nearly 2 hours before being told I would receive a call back as the only person that could help me was on their lunch, I asked for a contact number in case they didn't call back and the number they provided (and repeated back to the call handler) isn't even their company..!!! Their websites provides the phone number of 0333 241 9566 to make a home insurance claim, this has put me through to lots of IGO4 representatives who in turn couldn't help me and gave me other number to call... in fact all the numbers below were given to me by them over the 2 hours. 0333 240 5790 0800 008 6709 0344 800 1930 01733 308 235 0344 800 3612 01733 308 320 0333 241 9655 NONE of the numbers put me through to anyone that could take my details and log a home insurance claim. I have still not been able to log a home insurance claim and have an unsecure garage with the stuff that the last lot of scum bags didn't steal. Do NOT take a policy with IGO4.

Unfortunately I will never insure any of my vehicles with iGO4 again... After relatively quickly getting through to someone, (which is why i've left a star) with a 'couldn't care less' approach i explained i need to cancel my policy, after repeating my details 5-6 times, then having to repeat it all again 'in order' because she was just following the script. I was expecting a small cancellation fee as is usually the case, only to be told if i want to cancel they'll mug me of £75! In 20 odd years of driving i've never known a cancellation fee so high! (Usually £30-35 i've paid in the past if i've sold a car half way through a policy).. And on occasions I've not had to pay a fee at all. So for now i'll remain their customer, but never ever again..
