Renewed with Homeprotect again this year. Ahead of my renewal date I checked on comparison sites to get any idea of the likely cost as everything I had read said prices had increased, and they had, a lot. I was pleasantly surprised that my renewal price had only increased by a few pounds meaning that I could renew safe in the knowledge that I was able to protect my home as I would wish to and that it is still affordable which is so important when everything thing is so expensive. It is important to have your home and belongings properly protected insurance can sometimes be what people cut back on and can have devastating consequences Well done Homeprotect for helping people to do this in these ongoing difficult times

Disgraceful customer service from a team member unwilling to help and wasn't bothered if I went elsewhere led to me putting in official complaint all resolved now but terrible experience

It's a scam. Homeprotect has continually failed to pay out a single penny over 8 months and now I have nowhere to live. I have had 2 builders make quotes, which they thought was too much. They have had a builder make a quote for the drying process before work could begin and that was too much and then they got a loss adjuster involved who recommended an amount which hasn't been paid. The issue was caused by an escape of water in October, but because they refused to pay out the quotes the problem has progressed and rotted a joist which after 4 more months collapsed on top of a pipe. The water has been cut off for the whole house and we are trying to rely on friends to accommodate us and booked some nights in a hotel. They won't speak to me on the phone hiring some other company called Davies to answer the phone. Davies can't tell me what's going on with the claim, only that they're waiting for homeprotect and I can't negotiate or explain to homeprotect how urgent it is because Davies have no authority to decide anything about the case without homeprotects say so.

Purchased the home insurance policy through MSE site. The relevant information was provided and it wasn’t difficult to purchase. The price was comparable with other companies providing similar product. Documents arrived straight away and are easy to follow. I had no need to make a claim or contract the company directly.

Homeprotect (trading name) protects the profits of Avantia Insurance Limited CEO Mark Eastman formally of WebMoney Limited. For claims they out source and hide behind the Davis Group Limited CEO Dan Saulter.I have been fighting for a claim for 2 years 5 months since Storm Franlin 2022 storm damage! There system broken they don,t even have a complaints email that works. Here is one last chance for you to get this sorted. HomeProtect PolicyA03/0649664 Claim- 75166459136

I have been with Homeprotect for some years and in my experience they provide a first class service. I have made a claim in the past which was dealt with over the phone so no need to complete paper forms and submit them. I extensively researched insurance quotes for the best price and Homeprect was again the cheapest.
